Pleasantly surprised! Yum! - Sugar alcohols are NOT sugar (so this is indeed sugar-free)
I had been putting off trying powdered peanut butter, as I had heard in the past that it tasted terrible and wasn't worth it. I recently had been hearing good things about PB2 however, and when I went online to find it, saw PBfit as a less expensive and well-rated alternative. Decided to go with the the sugar-free version, as I am trying to cut down on added sugars. I am surprisingly pleased with the taste! I can't compare to PB2 or the original version of PBfit, but I found the flavor and texture to be very good, and I don't find myself missing traditional peanut butter too much. I did not note the "coconut flavor" that some have mentioned, but can maybe see a bit of the "burnt/dark" flavor another review mentioned. I personally don't find that very slight flavor off-putting. Almost like a roasted feel to me. If you think that would bother you, perhaps try the original PBfit. I personally mix with almond milk instead of water for a little more substance. My preferred method is to add a little extra liquid for a slightly thinner consistency that is perfect for dipping or use like a sauce. Also, this IS sugar-free. Or rather no sugar added. It is not false advertising. A small amount of sweetness is added by sugar substitutes - specifically a monk fruit-erythriol blend. This is the "sugar alcohols" that are referred to, which are not processed by the body as sugar. I would prefer a version with no sweeteners at all, but it is what it is. Not false advertising though.

Awesome replacement for peanut butter in sauces
I love this stuff! I like making a lot of peanut sauces (e.g., thai food, apple wedge dip), but I hate how high the calorie content is of regular peanut butter (just 1/4 cup of peanut butter is 380 calories, that is over 25% of my daily intake, yikes!) I also hate how regular peanut butter sometimes tempts me to eat big spoonfuls, then I end up ticked off that I did it, ugh. This stuff gives the flavor of peanut butter but doesn't tempt me to overindulge. It has high protein content which is a bonus. The PBfit version doesn't have the added sugar like the original PB powder, another bonus for me. It does not have the "mouth feel" of peanut butter, i.e., that rich fatty taste, but I'm totally ok with that because I'm sure that fatty mouth feel is what causes me to overindulge in peanut butter in the first place. Now I can eat delicious peanut-based sauces without the angst or extra calories.

Great product, the best powdered peanut butter I've ever had.
So I am a huge fan of the Organic PB Fit powdered peanut butter, but decided to try to Sugar Free version. I saw some negative reviews about a weird taste, but went forward anyway. So, for reference I am comparing this to the PBFit Organic version (which at this point I prefer over regular peanut butter). This one is fantastic. There IS a slight difference in taste, it is a little bit less sweet, and there is definitely a different flavor. I saw a review that called it a "soy sauce" flavor, for me there is almost what I would describe as a more "burnt" or "alcohol" type flavor. It is very subtle, and it's not a negative for me, I think it tastes great, but just to provide some comparisons to the other PB Fit. So don't expect it to taste 100% the same, but as someone who consistently tries to eat as little sugar as possible and also consumes about 200 g of Protein per day, this fits in great with my eating habits and I use it daily. Buy it! You won't be disappointed unless you hate peanut butter and if that's the case why are you here?!?

If you like peanut butter powder, but not sugar, this is a pretty good replacement
I like pbfit. They’re much cheaper than pb2 where I live. I absolutely love peanut butter and this is great for my diet. I try to cut down on sugar and the Sucralose is a bit of a bummer but it makes it taste good so I tolerate it. If you’re eating peanut butter powder you’re already settling so switching to sugar free was something I didn’t have a hard time doing. TLDR; Good taste Cheaper than pb2 Good for low calorie diet Wish it had something else rather than Sucralose but whatcha gonna do.
