Bought this no-name (looks like a rebadged Hasivo or YuanLey OEM) unmanaged 10Gbe switch for $119 on a Lightning Deal and I’m honestly shocked at how good it is for the money. What you get: 2 × 10Gbase-T RJ45 ports (real 10 Gbit/s, Cat6a or better) 4 × 2.5Gbase-T RJ45 ports (backwards compatible with 1G/100M) Tiny fanless metal case, completely silent 12V 1.5A wall-wart power supply (included) Real-world performance My desktop (10G NIC) ↔ Synology DS1823xs+ (10G port) hits sustained 1.12 GB/s (9.4 Gbps) copying large 4K/8K video files. Zero packet loss, rock solid. My three 2.5Gbe devices (PS5, Shield TV, WiFi 6E AP on 2.5Gbe port) all negotiate 2.5Gbps instantly and run without issues. Plugged my old 1Gbe devices into the remaining ports and everything just works – no compatibility drama. Build & heat 100% passive cooling, case gets warm (around 55-60°C under full 10G load) but totally fine. No thermal throttling even after 24-hour file transfers. Feels like a solid chunk of aluminum. Pros Dirt cheap for true 10G copper + multi-gig ports Truly plug-and-play unmanaged (literally zero config) Silent, low power (~8-10W idle, ~18W max) Small enough to velcro under the desk Cons (minor) No link aggregation / LACP (it’s unmanaged, expected) Power supply cable is only 3ft long No mounting ears (but it’s so light it doesn’t matter) If you just need a fast, dumb switch to connect a NAS, gaming PC, and a couple multi-gig devices without spending $300+ on a Trendnet or QNAP, this thing is an absolute no-brainer. Works flawlessly. I have an 8GB internet connection and two Mac Studios with 10GB adapters. This shares the internet connection with them perfectly, giving each of them the maximum possible when they need it. It obviously doesn't turn my internet connection into a 16GB connection, but both of my computers can use the full 8GB connection when they need it. It shares the 8GB bandwidth between them on demand. It is quiet, has nice lights that flicker for the child inside me, and does what it is supposed to do. I'm happy with my purchase.

I just got Comcast Xfinity Business Fiber (2,330Mbps Download and 2,338Mbps Upload)!! This switch works SO well! I CERTANLY recommend it for those who have a multi-Gigabit connection!

I’ve bought other versions of this switch the 2.5 version and it worked great but since I upgraded to 5 gigabyte Internet service. I needed a larger switch so obviously I went with this brand because it’s been good to me and has never failed.

I purchased this switch to add 10Gb connectivity to my home network for a NAS and PC. For the first week or so it appeared to work, but after that it became unreliable. Issues I experienced: - Devices (especially my NAS) randomly disappear from the network - Traffic will pass for an hour or so, then stop entirely - Power cycling temporarily fixes the issue, but it always returns - Link lights remain on even when the switch stops forwarding traffic - Connecting the same devices directly to the router works immediately, ruling out cables or NICs This makes the switch unusable for any critical or always-on device. A network switch should be invisible and dependable — this one requires constant intervention. The port layout (2×10Gb + 4×2.5Gb) and fanless design are appealing, but stability is not there. Since the switch is unmanaged, there’s no way to troubleshoot or correct the problem. I do not recommend this switch for NAS, servers, or sustained high-throughput use. I am replacing it with a more reputable brand. Returned.

I was rewriting my Intranet to Internet connections to take advantage of 10Gbos interfaces on newer routers and wanted to see if I could boost my speeds a little but using this cost-effective hub anywhere I had that high-speed port. I was pleased enough with the first unit that I bought a second. Then I bought a third as a spare. It seems to support higher throughput and now my provider is trying to sell me higher Internet speeds. Not sure I need it now.

Perfect!!! Built my house eth. backbone on this guy; changed all the cables to CAT 7, got 10G fiber from the ISP. I placed it in the basement due to the fan sound (you can barely hear it, but it is not for the living room). Tested with five simultaneous streamings in 4K, at the same time heavy download, no lag no delay, it’s just amazing.
