Over time the old siphon tubing got brittle and broke off. I looked at the manufacturers website for a replacement part. It was twice as expensive as the one on Amazon. So I am thrilled I could order it for less and it came in two days.

Got my old 30 gal siphon system working perfectly. Ended up with more parts than I needed, so the separate inside and outside repair kits probably would have been a better idea for the same price. Instructions are well written, and I like the included water test kit.

After 2 years of working with this system, was installed in new home, I have unfortunately had to learn more about system than I care to, in order to get it to work correctly. After replacing MOST of the parts previously, company tells me it is NOW probably bad grey check valve. Then they state that the installer should NOT have ported into pump and I simply need to put cap back on pump and use their saddle valve. The contractor is now out of business and I am fairly sure he scrapped the metal cap. After ordering this COMPLETE repair system, inside box was opened. After installing and testing the new parts would not hold ANY suction. After checking all parts I discovered that WHOEVER had this replacement kit before had taken apart the clear filter cap and the rubber seal was not reinstalled properly. After working with seal several minutes, I was able to repair it, as I did not want to return and wait on another box, and system currently is working. Another note: evidently there is ANOTHER check valve in bottom of feeder line in tank. Shake that to be sure ball is releasing. Finally, evidently since they use a translucent tank in their system, a fungus or algae grows in tank. First rep said to add 1 cup of bleach to tank. However after going through entire cleaning process and doing this with more stuff growing, I cleaned out again and did as NEW instructions state: add 2 cups of bleach. I wonder if wrapping the tank in dark duct tape or plastic paint would help??? There must be an easier method than this system and cost of chemicals???

It was the best solution to to replace the entire flow system… I didn’t need the pump siphon connection, the existing was not clogged, so I have that extra part for the future.
