Just what I wanted, thank you!

Perfect for my 6 year old great nephew. Compliments his Darth Vader costume very nicely. The battery powered illuminated red light in the saber is a nice touch and increases the authenticity.

A cheap version of a light sabre, it does light up, it does make the right kind of noises (including various ones when you bash it against things), includes pre-installed battery (and no obvious way to change it, or charge it). However, it doesn't actually look much like any SW light sabre, it's just an approximation so this is most definitely a cheap kid's toy rather than any kind of replica. Handle is solidly put together plastic, the shaft is thin sections of translucent plastic that are less high quality and may be its weak point regards durability. Anyway, for less than a tenner at the time of writing, it'll keep your kids happy for a bit.

Broke within a few days of using it. The end snapped off/cracked with light use only. Really disappointed. I cannot see there is anyway to return/get a refund.

Very cheap and not very solid at all

This light saber is priced just right. What you get is budget light saber. Made from plastic, it is light and robust. Perfect for the kids to play with. It is easy to use. To extend the light saber, hold tight and swing it out. It will extend quickly. Very simple and easy. To turn on, one button that turns it on and off. Very basic, no nonsense light saber. This model, has one colour it seems. No instructions and from pressing the button in a number of ways. It doesn’t change colour nor mutes the sound. Fortunately, the sound isn’t too annoying like many others.

This plastic toy light saber comes with batteries preinstalled, so all you need to do is remove the tab to start the fun. The saber extends and glows, and can be retracted to a third of its length. However, it doesn't make sounds during motion or impact, so you have to press the button each time for the effects. While not a deal breaker, the toy sword feels a bit "plasticky," and the retractable sections are slightly rough around the edges. Although I think the build and features could be better for the price, I’m sure kids will still enjoy it.

Very quick delivery, happy with product

These light sabers are a lot of fun! Setup was easy, you just need to pull the little tab out that lets the battery engage, and you're all set! They're retractable blades for "disengaging" the saber, and for easy storage, which is nice, but some could see that as a downside because they can sometimes retract while playing. But we haven't found that to be too much of an issue if you pull them tight. The lights in the blade and handle are really cool, as are the sound effects that activate from motion. Really cool. The kids love these, and since there are two colors they're using them as "Empire" and "Jedi" swords. Working really well. The detail on the handle is really well done, not seeing any imperfections. Durability is pretty standard as with other plastic toys, no complaints there. All-in-all a great value purchase!
