Lucaffé Lucaffe Mr. Exclusive 100% Arabica ESE 150 Espresso Pods

I've been getting this same coffee for over 2 years and it's been amazing.

I LIKES IT. I had to write, having read the comment from one purchaser that it didn't work in the nepresso machine, s o give it one star. wake up and smell the coffee sweetheart - it pays to read the reviews and questions because these ain't nepresso pods (thank god). I moved from grinding my own beans and making a hand-pulled espresso, to ESE pods and I will never look back. Taste convenience and cleanup - the trifecta. Having shopped around for pods, I've settled on Lucaffe as my GO-TO,NUMERO UNO, PRIMO brand because it's fresh and the taste is as close to southern Europe as we can get here in the colonies. This ugly American knows what he likes in an expressso shot, and Mr. Exclusive is my afternoon beverage of choice. Now I have the right machine and life is good. CIAO BELLA!

Ordered these to use with my Handpresso when I'm on the road. It produces a nice, robust espresso with a lovely crema and a great bite to the beverage. Surprisingly close as one can get to a freshly ground brew. At 40 cents per brew, good value as well. It's a HUGE box though. Had no idea how bulky 150 individually wrapped packages would be!

I was looking for a substitute for my Lavazza Gran Crema ESE pods, which were out of stock. These Lucaffe pods have converted me. Richer, tastier than I was getting before. Ever since my first trip to Italy a few years ago, I just have to have my morning cappuccino, and these pods make a rich cup. For those of you who are starting out, know that these are ESE pods and are not for k-cup type machines. They require machines that have espresso cups capable of taking ESE pods. Delivery was on time.

This all arabica pod is good, but there are better ones. I find the taste to be a bit astringent. Also, if you weigh the pod there is less coffee in it than in other ESE pods. My favorite is the all arabica one from Caffe Borbonne, the taste is smoother, and with more coffee in it, you can make your shot a little longer.

I've been buying espresso pods on amazon for at least 10 years. For a while I switched brand and vendor a lot due to quality or price issues. Lately, I've been sticking with this particular item from this particular company because (1) these arabica pods taste great and have great crema, (2) the pods are packed tight and the shots are consistent, (3) the order comes in a box that is great for storage, (4) price per pod is very good.

awful...have not been able to get an espresso from these pods yet. very loosely packed and water just flows right through the pods. Resembles light tea water! have over 140 pods left that are useless to me

This has a thin and quite bitter taste - not what I am used to for a 100% Arabica blend.
