Generac GP3500iO Portable Electric Open Frame RV Friendly Inverter Generator, 3500 Starting Watts with PowerRush Technology

I own a Honda EU2000 which cost $1200 and love it but I wanted a 3500 and didnt want to spend $2000+. So I bought a Generac 3500iO last year, used it on my farm that does not have electric and it worked great. Strong generator. I put it in storage for a year in 2021, then came back to my farm in 2022. Filled it with fuel, and it started easily on the 2nd pull. I put about 10 hours on it this year and still works perfect and starts very easy. Love it just as much as my Honda so far. And its very quiet, super pleased with this product. Its easy to carry with the medal frame. Love it. I like the open frame so that the engine gets plenty of air and runs cool. Perfect balance and design and function. So I just ordered a 2nd so I can run parallel for more power when needed. Highly Recommended. 2 generators for twice the power and half the price. This is the only brand I could take a chance on other then Honda. Generac did a great job with this model.

This unit is well worth the money. I’ve used it an entire season powering my 30’ camper trailer. It’s only got a 25amp plug, but will run a 30amp RV trailer with ease. Note, not to run water heater on electric and AC at same time. You will pop the generator breaker. But one without the other and it works absolutely fine. We just waited the 15-20mins it took for the water heater to satisfy then we’d turn on the AC. Definitely recommend. We’ve got we’ll over 300hrs on ours now and has never been a problem. We used this extensively from April-September as we cleared our property to build our house. You won't be disappointed. Starts first pull every time. Love this thing.

Purchased the generator for off grid camping, runs smooth and quiet, has all the features required for off grid camping. No issues with-it so far. Highly recommend.

It is small enough to fit in my truck bed with the tonneau cover on and light weight enough (74 lbs) to manage. It provides as many watts (3,500) as much heavier generators, is relatively quiet, and it started with the first pull of the cord. It has a 30 amp input, which is perfect to use it to power my travel trailer, but it does require an adaptor to connect them.

Best bang for the buck. Used it for the first time last night when we ran out of electricity for 12 hours. Was able to keep my fridge, freezer and my hockey game going. Shut up and take my money. Edit after 1 month. I used it several time and it always starts flawlessly. Great product
