Heavy, well made and as described. Fitted to a large hand made gate and they operate fine and seem made to last, would buy again.

These were excellent. Due to a shoulder injury, ive only just fitted these but they fitted easily and our gate is much more secure.

It was abit of shame they drop a little once hung.

I used these on an oversized door I built out of planed 4" x 2" (was about 95mm x 45mm when finished) which I faced with 19mm matchboard. I built the door big enough for a person to walk through side by side with a bicycle, it was 1350mm wide and 1800mm high and it was quite heavy! No problem at all for these brackets, very happy with them.

Why did you choose this product over others?: These were to replace 30 year old ones that are worn. The quality of these is really good and the price competitive.

Great heavy duty hinges not rubbish thin ones! Would def use again as they were cost effective for the quality . Initially o though was but expensive until I checked the other hardware suppliers options and they were on a par plus free delivery with prime !
