I use one of these with a small camping stove to prevent scorching the grass and its ideal. Very small and light but also prevents the heat from burning anything underneath. Well recommended.

Good size for my hair straighteners that get very hot

I needed a heat resistant mat for my electrical hair items. It's a tad small to have both my hairdryer and straighteners on it, but I very rarely use both. It does the job of keeping my dressing table unmarked.
