Heavy woven glass worked great, wetted out and built up fine

On most reviews I have seen that this product comes in a roll but this one came folded not that it makes to much of a difference for my use. The package was delayed in transit so not the sellers fault I gave it a five star cause it does feel like quality material and it’s nice and thick for what I’m using it for I will add more after using it with the resin.

Just what I ordered

This feels heavier and certainly has a coarser weave than the 10oz west marine cloth I’m comparing it to. As a result it doesn’t comply as well with compound shapes but it’s still quite workable. The economics can’t be beat either - this is a fantastic price for reasonable quality cloth. I’m still fairly new at fiberglass work and I think I’d be having an easier time with precut sheets of name-brand cloth, but then my kids wouldn’t eat this month so you make do. Arrived very fast, double packaged, tied, and taped, in a roll. tl;dr it’s more than 9oz, quality is fine, price is great.

I cut the mat up and did 4 layers on top of my plywood. It has been very durable and I’m very happy with the repair. I used a 5 to 1 fiberglass resin and as you can see the glass just disappears in it. The repairs are very solid, the mat worked perfectly, and saturated with the resin very easily, and adhered well. This was the cheapest way to buy sheet glass that I could find and it worked out perfectly. It was easy to cut with a sharp pair of scissors. The mat can be used for a variety of things it comforms well and takes to a variety of angles pretty well. Overall I’m happy with it and I will be purchasing this product again.

I have used fiberglass cloth (with resin) to repair many projects around the house for at least a decade, like door frame wood rot. I was overwhelmed at how much fabric I received today when this item arrived, versus what I have typically received at the big box stores over the years. This is Great value! I'll be back for more !
