It worked for a little while
Mom seemed to like them in the earlier stages of Alzheimer's. It kept her hands busy so that she wasn't grabbing at other things she wasn't supposed to grab. Kept her focused for a little while. Soft and held to her wheelchair okay. Was able to hook to others just like this one to create a longer chain. Not very big.

Superior fidget item!
This is an amazingly well made fun item for dementia patients in particular. My mom has spent hours playing with hers! I’m buying a back-up right now!

Great for ASD too
My daughter is 5 and likes to fidget with things. This keeps her engaged while giving her textures, and enjoyment. She has Down Syndrome and ASD, so having a dual diagnosis it is not easy to find her toys to play with. She has a great time with this instead. I am so glad I found this and is a great value.

Worth it
It's pretty good, my mom is interested most of the time. It is the cheapest one too so definitely worth a try.

Awesome for autistic children
It says it is for Alzheimer's but I got it for my 6 year old grandson who is severely autistic. He absolutely loves it

Great for dementia care.
I bought this sensory toy for my Aunt who has dementia. She loves it. She can use it open as a little play mat, or it can be put around her wrist as a bracelet she can play around with and not drop or lose it. It has a lot of little things on it that keep her attention like ribbon, beads, buttons, heart poppers, and stretchy rings.
