What size should I get for a 4 year old - and also for 1 parent to sit in w/ him at times?

I am a Grandfather who bought this for my granddaughter. I got the small one and she loves it. She is 3 years old. I can sit in it comfortably with her next to me. Just to let you know the small is big (lol). I am 5'9" tall weigh 220lbs and I fit in it just fine.
