In a nutshell - These lights offer an affordable, powerful, easy and energy-efficient lighting solution, especially well-suited for spaces like garages, workshops, and sheds. With straightforward assembly and a high lumen output, these lights are an economical, practical choice for many indoor applications. However, there are a few minor drawbacks that you should consider. Further details.. Each light produces 5000 lumens, has a wide 270-degree angle, and consumes only 40W of power, making it a cost-effective and more durable alternative to traditional fluorescent tubes. They’re also very easy to assemble/install. The lights come with all necessary accessories, including power cords with on/off switches, hardwiring options, and connecting cables that allow for up to six lights to be linked in series. This reduces installation time and effort, making the setup process smooth and hassle-free. They also include some connections with wire splices to make a longer cord, which I did to span the width of my shed so I could link 3 lights on either side with each other. While the lights themselves are fairly sturdy, especially compared to traditional fluorescent tubes, some care should be taken to ensure you don’t bend or twist them overtly, which could break them. Feature Summary Brightness: 5000 lumens per light Power Consumption: 40W per unit Beam Angle: 270 degrees Installation Options: Hardwiring and power cord with on/off switch Connectivity: Easily link up to 6 lights in series Included Accessories: Power cords, hardwiring kits, connecting cables, small connectors, installation manual Final Thoughts Overall, the Barrina LED Shop Light is a reliable, bright, and energy-efficient option that offers excellent value for its price. Its ease of assembly and versatility make it a great choice for various indoor lighting needs. I used them to light up my large tent shed, and it now looks great - day or night, and only took me under 30 minutes to get it all setup. If you need an affordable, easy lighting solution, these LED shop lights are definitely worth considering. They also go on sale occasionally. I was able to pick up a six pack on sale for $99.99 (29% savings) which worked out to $16.67/light which is a great deal!

I ordered two sets of these. Put one set of six up in my garage, and two strips in my laundry room. The hardwire pigtail they include isn't to Canadian electrical code, so I didn't use it. Ended up putting a single outlet box into the ceiling with two plugs to run two strips of three off the supplied plug leads. This makes them legally temporary lights in case there's ever an issue with a home inspection or whatever. The hardwire is fine, you could marrette it into a standard electrical wall box, but a proper electrician would probably take issue with that. That being said, the lights are good quality, the cables aren't copper but are easy to work with and seem fine for the use case. The lights are incredibly bright. Each strip feels like 100W equivalent or so. The light is just above the 6000k daylight spectrum, but no discernable blue. Makes waxing the car in the garage much easier to see. They've been on at least ~20 hours now over a few days. No flickering, no dead leds, almost cold to the touch. The options included to string them together are really appreciated. Appreciate also they give both a hardwire lead and a plug lead for each individual strip. The two small things I would say don't affect use or quality, but to me the screws they supply are a tad short. I know they hold next to no weight but I swapped them for proper wood screws and anchors where needed. The other thing is the metal brackets they supply feel fairly sharp on the sides. I felt like holding them to stop them spinning while screwing them in, they might slice my fingers if they spun in my hand, so ended up wearing a glove while mounting the brackets. Overall very happy with the product. I'll try and do an edit to this review in six months or a year about how they're fairing. Would buy again so far. Edit after over a year - all strips still going strong, no dead LEDs, thousands of hours on some of the strips. Super impressed, bought another box of them on next prime day in case any ever die.

I'd probably give these lights 5 stars, but having used them for about 2 years they began to fail, one by one. It's not the end of the world considering the price point, and how easy they are to replace, I chalked it up to a wash. Pros: -Seem to be the best price point around -They are incredibly easy to install/replace -They put out some serious light. A 6 pack were more than enough to illuminate every inch of my 800 sq ft shop -They are physically durable. One was dropped from about 8 ft during installation and was no worse for wear, a few others have taken a licking from a stray 10 ft piece of lumber or raft oar and seemed just fine. -I haven't done any draw testing, but my power bill was noticeably less than when I had the 4 traditional bulbs running. Cons: -Unsure if I received a bad batch initially or what, but each unit began failing after about 2 years, one by one. The final unit failed almost 3 years on the day to when I first installed them. Again, at this price point, I chalk it up to changing a lightbulb and call it a day. -Individual diodes seem to begin failing prior to the entire unit failing, which can cause flickering for a few weeks before hand. It wasn't very noticeable, but just worth noting. Overall great lights, and again, lights that I purchased again to replace the existing set once they began failing, just thought it was worth mentioning.

They don’t last very long. I don’t spend a great deal of time in my garage so the lights are not on that much. They lasted approx 2 years. I bought more just to replace the burned out ones last year and those ones are failing now as well. Nice bright lights and easy to install but they don’t last.
