great alternative to toothbrush AND alternative to dry pelu siwak
We're a few days away from Ramadan and I wanted to try a new product instead of the old Pelu stick they sell here in the US which is usually more of a miss than a hit since the brand they usually sell tends to be very dry, too fibrous (old trees maybe?) and not very pleasant overall. This sticks are a bit pricier than the ones I mentioned above and when I first tasted it, it took me a minute to get used to it but man it is amazing ! Absolutely the moistest stick one could dream of! It's like, who came up with such an idea? (I'm a convert to Islam so before reading it was a tradition of the prophet (peace be upon him) I've never heard or seen anyone do this before) but it is amazing to just be able to carry your little stick around and chew on it/ use it as a brush while in the car or what not and have a fresh breath all day! It definitely does wonders to your teeth. I do still use a regular toothbrush at night and sometimes in the morning out of habit but during the day I have this stick around and use it a few times a day and I love it! Better than gum and floss I bet. Hope they restock soon as I think I'm going to get myself another two packs, one for me and one to gift to a friend who I think will greatly enjoy it as well! Thank you guys for the product and also for the cute personal note on it.

Love the olive miswak sticks
Love the olive miswak sticks. The process of using one of these is pretty easy. Since they are dried out before packaging you'll need to leave it in water for a few hours ( 2 should be fine), which will sort of soften the inner fibers and also darken the outer bark for some reason. The inner bristles have sort of a yellowish color to them and once chewed have a very soft texture to them. The bristles spread apart once chewed and then you just brush your teeth with it in an up and down motion. Getting the back teeth can be a lil challenging but that comes with practice. You will definitely experience a difference in your teeth. Very pleased.

Gum Friendly
I bought these because the conventional toothbrushes available are just too harsh for my gums, leaving them bleeding no matter how soft I press. Using these Miswak sticks, my gums have not bled so far. They are easy to use, and I am able to easily guide them over my gum area in a soft manner. Even softly, the constant motion of the miswak over the concerned area removes plaque quite well. The taste takes getting used to but that does not bother me. I am just happy to have something organic, that does not shred my gums. Will definitely order these again as needed.

Unfortunately not as good as the peelu miswaks
I was surprised to find that I did not like these as much as the peelu miswaks. While the olive miswaks have a delightful but very mild smell and taste that reminded me of almonds, they were too difficult to peel and chew even after soaking for 4 hours. The bristles are too soft and broke off in my mouth very easily, and they didn't clean my teeth nearly as well as peelu miswaks. It felt like I was brushing my teeth with a soggy old paintbrush, whereas the peelu feel a lot closer to modern plastic-bristled toothbrushes.

Great product at a great price! Beautifully packaged...each stick is independently shrink-sealed. Enclosed instructions are super easy to follow. You definitely must soak the stick prior to usage. But once you do, The product is very easy to use. This is a great product for outdoor lovers... campers, hikers, fishermen, hunters. Or anyone who like to be outdoors. Individually Packaged and works GREAT.....!!!!!
These are a great add-on to your regular morning and night toothbrush routine, since most of us don’t brush during the rest of the day. The sticks are hard because they have been dried out or something so they need some water soaking. Taste is tamed and definitely manageable. I chew on these throughout the day but still do my regular brushing. They are worth the money!

these are more like toothpicks rather than toothbrushes.
all 10 sticks were too thin to be used as a toothbrush. they should be approx as thick as your pinky. these were 1/3 the size. what a joke. they look good in the picture tho, but the items you will get are nothing like they are in the pic. had to return for a refund. just for reference, in Pakistan one can get these super skinny ones for about 10 rupees each (retail), while one with normal thickness costs about 40-50 rupees each (retail)
