Love Lakeside-Men's Cashmere Feel Winter Plaid Scarf & Buffalo Check Scarves

Growing up and dressing more and more like a person who pays their own bills, a scarf seemed like the next logical inclusion to my wardrobe. It gets cold outside, producing an unpleasant cold experience on my neck and chin, the scarf, believe it or not, is a great way to combat this chilly winter effect while also maintaining a sleek fashionable appearance. I settled on this scarf after a rivetingly brief shopping session one morning: it was relatively cheap and had roughly the color scheme I hoped for. The white/black is a classic motif, the stripes vary in width and consistency and even feature some houndstooth-like influences at points, a veritable pantheon of tapestry techniques. It looks great rearing through the neckline of a black pea coat, which is the only occasion that I've had to wear it thus far and provides ample warmth to my under-face region. The scarf is about 6 ft long, perfect for either a 'midpoint-on-back-of-the-neck-sides-draping-down' or 'doubled-up-and-looped-through' technique for scarf wear.My only worry is that the little fringes at the end will come undone and err on the side of 'ratty', so far my experience leaves me with an optimistic outlook.

I saw a few one-star reviews saying these scarves were poor quality, but the reviews were so good overall, I went ahead. Sadly, at least for the navy/teal color, I concur that the quality is garbage. Upon first use, long threads started peeling off the edges, and fabric fuzz came off in bunches. My husband wore it a few more times to see if it stopped but the problem persisted and it only got worse looking. Will be returning it. It's too bad, because it's soft, and the length and colors are right.

I live in a frozen part of the Midwest, and wear this scarf for snowy weather.Although I am a woman, I prefer mens' scarves because they're thinner-but-warmer than most women's scarves. A lot of women's scarves I've worn in the past were cute, but not warm. Men's scarves, on average, were warmer-- but the colors were rarely ever cute. This one is the best of both worlds: the colors work with my relatively-feminine outfits, but the scarf itself isn't girly (my male classmates wear the same scarf, we just accessorize differently.)The scarf itself is well-finished and has a cashmere-like sheen (because it's made of viscose, a plant-based fiber that looks very similae to cashmere. The only way you can tell the difference is if you touch it.) Since I work in the legal field, it's important to have clothes that work with professional outfits, not just casual clothes. When I meet my professors and bosses, I don't want to look like a kid getting out of the snow! This scarf's subdued color scheme and cashmere-like appearance allow me to wear it to work and networking functions (I've received compliments. People are surprised when I tell them it's an under-$15 men's scarf, because a similar women's scarf costs $45 locally.) I've also visited London, and can confirm that very similar scarves are sold there for twice as much as the Amazon price.Finally, this scarf is THE WARMEST SCARF I HAVE EVER OWNED. A single scarf is enough to keep my neck warm when it snows out here. No scarf I've worn before was capable of that (I used to wear multiple scarves, because I get cold easily.) Also, because this scarf can fold out, it doubles as a wrap! And then, if I need it to be skinny, I just fold it-- and it stays folded (I'm guessing it's because the material is dense enough that it stays put. Cheaper scarves will shift out of position, and not stay neatly folded.)Overall, I'm very satisfied with this scarf!

I loved this scarf so much that I bought two more! I was first caught by the many beautiful colors this scarf comes in and the great price, so I decided to purchase one to be sure the quality was good. The material is of high quality, the scarf is well sewn, very soft, and reasonably thick, yet easy to tie into different scarf knots. The colors are beautiful, just as shown in the photos. Did I mention, it's warm around my neck in winter's chill too? These are advertised as men's scarves, but I am a woman who just loves them!

Love these cashmere 'like' scarfs. They are very soft and are surprising warmer than other scarfs I have. They also look very nice, For really cold days that require u face wrapping I prefer acrylic scarfs because the can me machine washed. If your not inclined to spend 100 dollars or more on a cashmere scarf these are certainly close.

I ordered this scarf for an upcoming trip to New York City specifically to match a specific sweater. I couldn’t be more pleased with the colors. The length and width are perfect for me. This scarf does indeed have a cashmere-like feel that is very comfortable and warm on the back of my neck on the cooler nights. So far so good on the tassels on the end. I am a little concerned that they may start to unravel with extended wear, however at this price point it really isn’t a deal breaker. I would consider this scarf a great buy. I don’t believe you will be sorry.

A scarf. My teen son asked for a scarf. I purchased this one-I figured it could go with just about everything. He loves it. He wears it often. Sometimes without a shirt even...did I mention he's a little strange? lol Kinda like his mom. Did I mention we live in Florida? Well, it does get chilly here sometimes....Anyway, this is a great looking, light-weight scarf and he loves it, so you probably will also!

My husband bought this scarf to stay stylish and warm in the winter months. The scarf is more of a fashion item than something to keep you practically warm but it does look really nice on him. The colors look great together. It is well constructed and seems like it will last a while. It is very soft!

This is super soft and decent quality. My teen daughter loves it. I was worried about the "cashmere feel" but it's good!
