Really great yogurt maker!
Have only recently gotten this yogurt maker to replace one that made individual servings in separate little glass jars. Since I eat yogurt at least once a day, it's nicer not to have to wash all those little jars. The Luvele Pure Plus makes WONDERFUL creamy yogurt from organic whole milk and freeze-dried yogurt starter in 24 hours. I love knowing that the good bacteria content of 24-hr yogurt is much higher than in typical supermarket yogurt that ferments for only 4-5 hours. Very good for the immune system. The Pure Plus is also an attractive small appliance, pretty soft green color, looks nice on the kitchen counter. The automatic cut-off is a nice feature that my previous maker didn't have. I don't think the product description mentioned it, but the glass jar that comes with the Pure Plus has a lid with an adjustable date indicator so you can keep track of when each batch of yogurt was made. I did purchase an extra 2 litre Luvele glass jar so I can start my next batch before the current batch runs out! It would be nice if a thermometer had been included for checking temps as you heat and cool the milk, since lots of us who don't do the kind of cooking that requires a thermometer probably don't have one on hand. If you need to purchase a thermometer for yogurt making, be sure NOT to get a MEAT thermometer! Love love love this product and highly recommend it.

A very versatile yogurt maker
Ordinarily, I go straight to the product I am seeking, with the most reviews. In this case, there were only 13 reviews. But, I purchased this nifty machine anyway, because it had all my requirements.I want to become independent from most plastic. Opaque white plastic yogurt containers in my area are not recyclable. Numbers over I or 2 go to landfill. I didn't want a maker with those fiddly little glass jars with plastic screw on lids. This model has one 1.5 liter (2 quart) glass vessel, with a very nice lid. This vessel goes from machine to fridge. Just spoon out your yogurt when it's done, as you would do with a larger tub of yogurt from the market. I wanted a maker that had consistent heating. Compared to ALL the top tier makers I viewed, this one had the best design: a heated water bath. So, no inconsistent hotspots, that many reviewers reported having with the other models. I give this 5 stars, because I have now made many batches of delicious yogurt, with cow's milk, and even with oat milk. I choose the 24 hour ferment, and this little maker kept my yogurt consistently at temperature, the whole time. More importantly, my yogurt is perfectly done, with no hotspots. My two must haves are a digital thermometer, and packaged yogurt starter. The thermometer is absolutely essential for when you preheat your milk, and for cooling your milk to the proper temperature, in order to grow your yogurt culture. Digital thermometers are reasonably priced. If you buy a yogurt maker, order a digital thermometer at the same time, if you don't have one already. The packaged yogurt starter, for me, has been essential, because I want consistent yogurt. I read that you can use a store bought yogurt to add as your bacteria starter, but this method can be totally problematic, depending on the age of the product and the brand. If you go this route and your yogurt fails, blame the starter, not the machine. There is a vegan yogurt starter you can purchase, as well as a ruminant one on Amazon. Same three yogurt strains, except one has milk powder and the other doesn't. I have been very happy with both kinds. The starters are consistent and standardized.I really love this yogurt maker. It has a nice clean design. The electric cord detaches completely, and can be stored inside the glass vessel for long storage. The water is easily poured out from the base heater when done. The user manual is clearly written, and contains recipes. Granted, this brand/model is more expensive than some other models. But, I was very happy to pay a premium for this being visually appealing design-wise. The water bath method is unique, and I think this "hot tub" method makes a much more consistent product. Electronic controls are clear and easy to use. If you have been purchasing commercial yogurts, this model would easily pay for itself in mere weeks of use, even factoring in the nominal cost of yogurt starters.Lastly, my advice is to seek out the best quality cow's milk in your area. Your very own yogurt will only taste as good as the quality of milk you make it from. No big retail yogurt corporation cares about the milk. That's why supermarket yogurts are drenched in so many gimmicks, colors, sugars, candies and all sorts of camouflaging flavors and flippy-dippy mix-ins. All housed beautifully in totally unrecyclable plastic "dream boats." If you are serious about your own healthful yogurt, vegan or ruminant, I highly recommend this particular model over any other model I have considered.

Works really well and I'm helping the planet
I love my yogurt maker! The glass container is great to make the yogurt in and I love the fact that once I prepare the yogurt mix it does everthing else. I just set for 8 or 9 hours and then strain the yogurt to make the most delicious greek yogurt. The added benifit of not having to throw out a plastic yogurt container makes me feel good too.

FINALLY, a great yogurt maker!~
FINALLY, somebody came up with a yogurt maker that has a temperature control, timer, and water bath! There are a lot of people that make their own yogurt, and manufacturers have missed out on this market, including the SCD Diet people. Great design here, simple, and has the right features. After making yogurt for many years with a Yo'gourmet, with a make shift dimmer switch to kind of control the temperature, I came across this beauty, and immediately ordered it. I don't really like the idea of making yogurt in the Instant Pot, mainly because the milk solids tend to stick to the bottom of the pot, so this Levele Plus has my vote for "best" yogurt maker.

Accurate temperature!
I like the design: clean lines, attractive color, simplicity...but most of all I like the water bath with the three temperature setting choices, and that the machine maintains an even, accurate temperature so that the probiotics can multiply without the danger of overheating and being killed off. It makes wonderful yogurt. And in my case I use full fat coconut milk with a little agar, honey, lemon juice, and a variety of probiotic capsule powders. Sooooo delicious and good for you!!!!

Not For Me
I'm done with yogurt makers. My first one, not a Luvele, wore out after a couple of years. I bought this one hoping I would get the quality I wanted. It consistently produces very thin, runny yogurt. I can't strain it; it just runs through any sieve. It is thick milk. And I've been making yogurt for years. I will say the customer service was excellent. The first shipment got lost, Luvele responded quickly to replace it. The second one was faulty; leaked all over the counter and floor. Again, Luvele was quick to respond. I now make it in my old crock pot. It's easy, no fuss, and is consistently thick enough to strain, making excellent Greek yogurt.
