FouFou Dog 62558 Bodyguard Protective All-Weather Dog Pants, Small, Gray

These snowpants are perfect for my Doodle. He loves to run around and play in the snow, but his fur gets all matted and frozen with Snowballs and Ice. Had to melt him off in the bathtub. But I bought these, and they prevented any snow from getting tangled in his fur because they have Velcro straps to tighten the legs around his ankles. They fit perfectly, too (he's 30 pounds and I bought a Large). He looks adorable in them, plus he can still run and jump without any hesitation. Great product and I'll tell everyone these snowpants. Reasonably priced and they dry quickly, too.

I have been contemplating these snow pants for a while and finally decided to get them. I love to walk my Golden in all weather but her underbelly and 'feathers' on her legs get soooo dirty and filled with snowballs in the snow. These just came in the mail and we tested them out. Here are my thoughts: 1) Although I almost pee'd myself laughing at first (she was so pathetically adorable) I love them, she loves them, our family loves them. 2) At first she was hesitant, but as soon as I showed her her tennis ball she forgot she had them on and ran full speed as I chucked it with her. No problems for a first time user 3) I sized her for a XL as she is a Golden Retriever at 60 lbs. and the suit fits her well. 2) The color is more of a pink maroon than red, so be aware. I had read this in other reviews as well. 5) No joke; will use a LOT! Don't hesitate, buy today! I am not affiliated with this company- just an avid dog walker who likes a clean house!

The best so far for keeping ice balls forming on my pup's belly and legs in snow. It is light weight and I'm now using it to help with mud control. It is not warm so I put a coat on over it when needed. I have two of these and both have a couple of issues. The red small was better made but the feet openings are small and I had to re-sew to make them bigger. The medium black has many places coming apart and I have to re-sew. Also a seam ripped and the velcro tab was lost. Stonger thread when making these should resolve the issues. The clasps are tight as noted in another review. Even with these issues I give it 4 stars. My pup is a maniac and runs through everything and this thing stays on. It is the best underside and leg protection I found and is pretty easy to put on. For anyone with a long hair dog that gets snow or mud I recommend this.

We have been looking for something for our dogs to wear in the snow that really works and is easy to use for sometime. Our winters are long and snowy and the snow just forms balls on their fur which makes them really uncomfortable and truly keeps them from doing winter hiking with us. These are perfect! We have used them three times since we got them and they did the job. They go on easily and do not restrict their movement. Last week one of our dogs went in a brook with relatively deep water along the hiking trail which concerned me. I was worried this would hold the water and weigh them down-it did not-the water drained immediately and the suit even dried out quickly. The only issue we have had is that one of the suits ripped along a seam and I had to resew the seam. Since I have a sewing machine that was not a big imposition but may be a concern for someone else. We are really happy with these and have tried many other things with no success.

These worked as I imagined so far. Had my dog wear this to play in the snow. The sizing guide was close enough. The part that was an issue was the bottom adjustment. It was too big for the velcro to stay on. The bigger the size, I’m assuming the bigger the bottom circumference. Besides that it seems fine so far. It keeps my dog’s legs dry which was my main reason for this purchase. Wish it kept his belly dry, but unfortunately it did not. Overall, a decent purchase. Not worth the full price though, but the idea was great.

My dog only wore these a few times and the velcro fell right off and the middle clip came loose and also unstitched. Very disappointed, they were easy to get on and off of my dog, but so poorly made they are not worth your money.

Great idea for protecting my dog's belly and legs from snow, mud, thorns, etc. However, there were quality control issues that shouldn't occur for the price. First, one leg opening was sewn so that it was much smaller than the other openings. We had to stretch it until one of the seams broke in order to make it easier to put on. Luckily, the other seam held or there would have been a hole, Additionally, the clips are EXTREMELY tight and can be painful to open. Finally, after 2 months of pretty consistent use, the inside rubber/plastic lining is starting to disintegrate. It isn't a huge deal but disappointing. Overall, I don't regret the purchase but some design changes would raise the rating to 5 stars.

SO pleased with these rain/mud pants. Been looking for something lightweight to keep my long haired GSD from getting muddy on his belly and legs, his fur is so long! Easy to put on, doesn't restrict his running at all. Fits perfectly, I got an extra large for him, he is 85 pounds and pretty tall. Definitely recommend these, this will make my life easier in the rainy/muddy months!

A god send

These "snow"pants coupled with Muttluks "boots" have transformed our walks. No more timeconsuming snowballs to deal with when my curly furbaby gets home. XL fits my 65 lb pup perfectly. He can lay down or prounce in the snow and be protected as the legs on these pants just come to the tops of the boots. (Admittedly though wished they were about 2 inches longer). Never has he "dribbled" on it when urinating as the design is perfect. Only takes a moment to put on and take off. Only very minor annoyance is that the velcro's around the legs don't all wrap around the legs in the same way. Also makes him HIGHLY visible with the abundance of reflective stripes, that catch not just light in the evening but also sunlight during the day. Awesome for off-leash dogs! UPDATE - after 6 weeks of daily use, the inside is starting to crack and show signs of wear. Not sure how long it will last but still quite happy with this purchase.

This is a fantastic product, it's keeps our Newfoundland relatively dry and clean when we are out for walks or in muddy fields. I am so glad I found it. It does not cover the private area so urination is not a problem for our boy

I have a Biewer Terrier with lots of long white hair, in the spring and fall she's a Swiffer mop catching leaves and twigs between her legs, when this happens she sits until I clear them, it can slow down a walk. :) On a wet winter day she just ends up damp strangly mop!!! With covid I want to get out through the winter for walks without having to shampoo and dry her afterwards. I spend hours hunting for something, pants or an outfit??? I went for these lightweight pants because I could use them throughout the year as needed. In my search I found figuring the sizing on all brands difficult, Abby is a small dog, 8-9 pounds, 7" front legs but a little longer in the body at 12". I wanted legs that would cover her hair. I ended up ordering FOU FOU small dog medium to get the longer body. The length and front legs fit perfectly, the back legs are about an 1" too long. I needed to make a few adjustments, I tighten the elastic in each leg for a better fit and I added some pant elastic around the top to pull the top a little tighter. Prefect. Down the road I might cut the back legs up an inch and replace the Velcro with pant elastic, we'll see. Added bonus, the reflective strips, they really stand out in evening walks, I have no doubt Abby can been seen. feels much safer. The pants really get noticed, we've been stopped a number of times on our walks by other dog walkers noticing or asking about the pants. Pants suit the purpose, very good quality, really pleased with them, I would highly recommend them and order them again. No regrets!!!

when we got told by our dog walker even ebfore taking it out of the packagae that its badly designed, she pointe dout that the under carriage near the groin is open and would mean as soon as it goes for a dip in the mud or water, the whole point of the dog wearing this would be pointless.
