Tombow Mechanical Pencil, 0.5mm, MONO Monograph Grip (Soft Fit Grip for Anti-Fatigue), Pale Pink DPA-152G

it has a soft grip at the very front of the pencil, and its super easy to hold. i love the size of it: its probably about 1.5 cm thick, which is a little thicker than most pencils and i feel it allows me more precision when writing. it also feels super sturdy! so far, i havent noticed any issues with smearing. it writes so cleanly and i love that it uses 0.5 lead. refills are also super easy. its very similar to your run of the mill mechanical pencil, except that since the eraser is a twist kind, you pop off the entire back part. dont do more than 4 lead pieces at a time! (the directions say this, but its in japanese so its easier for me to translate it here :)

This is the best pencil I’ve ever had. I write incredibly small and most lead makes it cramped and illegible but this is sharp enough that it keeps the letters crisp and identifiable. It’s comfortable in the hand and the grip and weight make it useable for long periods of time.

Never going to use another mechanical pencil again! I love the aesthetic! I also love that you can reload the lead easily by just shaking it! Don’t want that feature? You can turn it off! It’s got a comfortable grip, good size, works effortlessly, and writes beautifully. This is the second one I’ve bought! Wouldn’t buy anything else!

These pencils are maybe, just maybe, the love of my life. I say it with an S because I own multiple mono graph pencils in different colors! Super easy to write with. A bit heavy, heavier than a kuru toga, but it feels very nicely weighted and stable, even when I’m a bit shaky. This pencil is so sleek and pretty, definitely one of my favorite things I’ve ever bought as a college student. My friend loves these too and has been using them for years since I first got her to try one! Once you use high quality pencils like this, you’ll never want to buy any other cheaper pencils again.

I am super picky about my pencils. My criteria is: -long eraser, must be refillable (unlike muji) and easily accessible (no caps) -lead doesnt break all the time -doesnt cause calluses when writing (needs soft grip) -0.5 lead -cute This checks every box and I thought it would be my perfect pencil BUT… It immediately got dirty. The grippy part is gray and I cant keep cleaning it every day. So, my search for the perfect pencil must go on.

Good value and quality as always. Clear, precise, smudge free writing without the fuss and an eraser which extends and actually works!

I love the way this pencil felt to use. It had great quality and lasted me an entire semester of college. The grip on the pencil was fine since most mechanical pencils are not comfortable. my only issue is pencil was that I didn’t have a way to refill the lead so once I finished it, I could no longer use it. Still I loved it and I’m definitely looking to invest in another.
