Lion Brand Yarn 24/7 Cotton DK Yarn, 1 Pack, Sugarcane

I made a great crochet tote out of this yarn. I used two colors and blended them together. Washed easy and soft. Got it for a great deal.

The product is as expected but the color is not, hope the picture had better quality

Soft and great for baby projects where you want 100% cotton.

I'm really disappointed in the size of this yarn. I purchased it because I wanted something just a little lighter than the worsted weight...this is a lot thinner than worsted and I'm not sure what to do with it.I purchased the gray one (Silver Lining) because online it appears to have a bluish hue to it and I thought that it would go well with the Seaglass color that I purchased, they are nowhere near the same....and this is why online purchasing of yarn and fabric socks. So a big thank you to politics and store corporations that choose to put cheap products in their stores and charge you an arm and a leg for it, causing the big box store craft stores that used to sell premium products to go out of business.I was hoping to tunisian crochet a baby blanket out of this but, it isn't going to work, back to a slouchy hat or something.

I have loved the 24/7 worsted wt yarn so I decided to give the DK a try. This is definitely thinner than a DK weight. It's more like a #2 or sport wt. I still LOVED working with this and the colors are amazing! I used a 4mm hook and make 2 C2C dush cloths. They turned out beautifully.

If you don't mind getting various dye lots no matter how many you order at one time, these might work for you. I have ordered 3 in total to add to what was on hand and they are all different lots AND different in shade. I crocheted with all, alternating skeins every couple of rows so it has an ombre effect. Made it work for me...
