Two Different Types of Mexican Style Hot Sauces, Work Well with Meat Dishes.
I tried these two sauces tonight on sautéed shrimp, here is a little description from me about both sauces:First of all, both sauces work well with shrimp. The Avocado Hot Sauce has a greenish color, spicy level feels mild - medium to me. Flavor wise, it tastes a little acidic, reminds me the salsa verde that the Mexican restaurants serve. The Habanero Hot Sauce has a orange color and definitely has more spiciness, the spicy level feels medium to me. Flavor wise, it is a little sweet & sour, leaves a lingering spice on my tongue. I feel both sauces bring in an authentic Mexican taste to the dishes, and I personally think they will work well with any type of meat dishes.I am going to make fish tacos this weekend, I will definitely add these two sauces onto the tacos. Taco is Mexican food and these two sauces will make the my fish tacos have more authentic Mexican flavors.

A Delicious Pair Of Hot Sauces That Add A Nuanced Spicy Flavor To A Myriad Of Foods
The first thing that I could not help but notice about the Herdez Hot Sauce Variety 2 Pack is the presentation. It is held in a gift box making it immediately ready to give as a gift to your favorite hot sauce fan or as a treat yourself present. The set includes a 12oz bottle of Avocado Hot Sauce and 5oz bottle of Habanero Hot Sauce. The Avocado Hot Sauce is a green colored sauce that has noticeable dark green colored speckles from the included cilantro. It has a tangy flavor note from tomatillos and its heat notes starts off quietly and builds up to a pleasant warm heat on the tongue. While the bright orange colored Habanero Hot Sauce is a fiery heat from start to finish. It is definitely a heat that will be appreciated by spicy food fans. Beyond its nuanced flavors, I really liked the consistency of the two hot sauces as it was not as runny as a familiar tabasco hot sauce and it actually clung to the foods that I had added it to. I added the sauces to scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos, roast chicken, and grilled fish tacos so far. It added a delicious flavor that was not just a singular spicy flavor note and will compliment a myriad of dishes that can be enjoyed at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Avocado Hot Sauce is made with water, tomatillos, soybean oil, green chile peppers, avocados, onions, and cilantro amongst other ingredients. The Habanero Hot Sauce is made with water, distilled vinegar, pickled carrot, and habanero pepper puree amongst other ingredients. It is a Product of Mexico. The sauces that I received have best by dates of 12 months (Avocado Hot Sauce) and 13 months (Habanero Hot Sauce) from the date that I received it. As a hot sauce fan, I loved both these sauces and will definitely add additional orders to my Amazon cart to give as gifts and to always have this pair of sauces in our kitchen.

Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot
These Herdez Hot Sauces are hot but have good flavor too. I was expecting the Habanero Hot Sauce to be hot, and it is. It's a bit hotter than I like. The Avocado Hot Sauce is also a little hotter than I expected. It's not the full heat level of the habanero, but still at least a medium hot to hot. The sauces will go well with meat, eggs and shrimp, but I like to add lemon or lime or serve with pineapple on the side to tone down the heat. However, I was disappointed to see that both sauces contain maltodextrin. It is under 2% but I would prefer if it had none. I prefer Tabasco Sauce to the Habanero Hot Sauce, and it doesn't include sugar or sugar substitutes. But, I liked the Avocado Hot Sauce enough that I might still consider buying it again. It has some fresh ingredients like avocados, tomatillos, onions, and cilantro.

Some solid sauces
The avocado sauce is already a staple in my house, it's a great medium salsa that's flexible for different dishes. The habenero is definitely hotter which is why they give you less of it but it's got a good flavor to it as well not just heat.
