Found this adapter works well when playing music from your phone at certain ice rinks, when the sound system has 1/4" connectors. I found you need an adapter with two 1/4" connectors or else the sound will not be in stereo, only mono.

I like the cable as an option but the audio I get is not the cleanest. Not sue if it is the cable I got, but it is a great concept but the audio quality sucks.

Used made such improvements in sound quality

From the outside, this product is beautifully made. Plastic molding it clean. The cable is flexible without kinking. But functionally it is unacceptable. I bought two, and they both behave the same.When connected to an Apple M1 Mac Mini, either directly to a built-in USB-C port, or indirectly through a USB 3.1 hub, the audio on both output channels warble as if a tremelo effect has been applied. This is most apparent when fed a computer-generated sinewave, such as from the AudioTest app, but is still quite apparent when playing music from Apple's Music app. I do not have this problem when using other USB-to-analog converters.Unfortunately this makes this product unusable for me.

I used this to hook my phone up to my keyboard. It worked great!
