LaforstWomens Fashion Extreme Comfort Slip Resistant Sneaker

When I ordered these Xtreme Comfort by Laforst women's sneakers, for some reason I thought they were slip-ons with elastic laces. But come to find out they’re slip-resistant, not slip-on. They’re regular tie-on sneakers with flat ribbon-like laces. So maybe I can’t slip in and out of them as easily as I wanted to, but that being said, I really like these sneakers!I usually wear a 6.5 women's shoe, and these 6.5 sneakers are perfectly true to size. At first I thought the sneakers were going to be too narrow, but once I loosened up the laces they fit my feet like a glove. I never heard of Laforst before, but for such an obscure brand, I think they put a lot more thought into the design than even some name brands do. The variety of colors is fantastic, the workmanship is good quality, and the slip-resistant texture on the soles is awesome.The best thing about these sneakers is the high cushioned arch! Cheap shoes usually don’t bother putting in much of an arch. But having a supportive arch that hugs your foot in just the right spot will stop the plantar fascia from overstretching. A slight heel lift can take pressure off the Achilles tendon as well. So if you have naturally high arches in your feet or if you have been experiencing foot pain, this sneaker with its high arch, good cushioning, and raised heel may work wonders for you!

These shoes look nice - I love the dusty pink color. They are also very cushiony and comfortable on the bottom of your feet. They are also true to size. But the top of the shoe bumps up against my outer ankle bone which makes them a bit uncomfortable. I also tested the slip resistance with a Body Pump weight lifting class. They were sturdy and seemed slip resistant when my feet were positioned under my hips or slightly outside my hips. But in the squat track where I had to have a wide stance, the shoes were sliding out a little and I had to keep re-adjusting them. This was a big disappointment for me because I was hoping for truly slip resistant shoes.

I really quite like these shoes. They're easy to put on (you can just slip them on), comfortable to wear, and have non-slip soles. I have noticed that I gravitate towards these shoes almost every day, especially now when it's quite slippery outside due to the ice. I got the pink one, but it isn't like an "in your face" pink; it is a nice soft pink that goes well with most of the things I wear. I'm indifferent to the heartbeat design and I like that it's not too noticeable. I typically wear a 7.5 in women's shoe size and this is true to size. They are comfortable to walk in all day and are not heavy on your feet; I'm not as eager to take off these shoes at the end of the day as I am with others. I also like how they give me a little bit more height as a vertically challenged person, so another small win. The only downside I can think of is that the laces are a bit cheap feeling, which is a bit disappointing since this is a pretty expensive pair of shoes. However, since I can use these as slip-ons, I never had to mess with the laces after the first time I wore them out of the box, so in the end I am not too bothered by them. These are basically my go-to shoes now.

These sneakers are extremely comfortable as advertised. The extended arch gives great support to my feet as I work all day. They grip the polished floors with no chance of slipping. Even the laces are good as they are ribbed which i believe makes them less prone to become loose. I even like the little heart beat symbol on the side...reminds me of t eh dark side of the moon! Comfortable all day work sneakers. Highly recommended!

These are really comfortable and do feel like they have good support. I definitely appreciate the heel and the added height, I don't know why I never got sneakers with a heel before. The pale pink is so pretty, also a first for me, I've never had pink sneakers - maybe not the best choice, since the second time I wore them my dog stomped right on top of my foot with his giant muddy paw. This is why I can't have nice things! (Literally.) I do think the price seems a bit high for a very obscure brand, but I can't deny the quality seems high.

I like these shoes, the only thing is the arch is very high which made them a bit uncomfortable for me. I did replace the inserts, now they are very comfortable! If you need a high arch comfortable shoe, this is the shoe for you. I do recommend them.

FIrst of all, I am picky with shoes... They never have a thick enough, soft enough, plyable enough, weightless enough sole or a breathable but thick and secure shoe top for me... I am quite picky!With that said, these shoes are really nice. They have thick, soft, supportive soles. They are a nice neutral color. They seem pretty non-slip which is really nice; I've tried some that claim to be and definitely are not. These work well for non-slip, support, and lightweight but secure feel.I like them! And I would suggest them to others.

I love these shoes. Very light weight and soft. The shoes have more then enough support. The only I would say negative is that the laces seem to always come undone. Will have to replace the laces with something else that can stay tied.
