I bought this for my 12 year old nephew as part of his Christmas gift. I was a little reluctant to buy a 12 year a lamp but he LOVES this movie and I thought it would be something a little different. When he opened it, he didn't know what it was at first so I took him into my kitchen, plugged it in and shut all the lights off so we could get the full effect. He absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to put it in his room. It is very impressive. It's (sorta) heavy and a nice size. NOT cheaply made at all. It has a really nice "glow" It's more of a decorative lamp, not a reading one. Probably could be used as a nightlight if need be. It's also nice that it's USB rechargeable. I highly recommend it and am very happy that I took a chance and bought it.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, who is a huge Jurassic Park fan, and she absolutely lost her mind when she opened it. Her whole room is Jurassic-themed, so this ended up being the perfect addition — it fits right in with everything else and honestly feels like a must-have for a setup like that. Right away, the design stands out. The amber look with the mosquito inside is such a cool and unique detail, and it really does look like something straight out of the movie. This is definitely more of a decor piece than a functional lamp. The glow is a warm orange and pretty mellow — it’s not bright enough to use as a reading light, but it works perfectly as a night light or ambient lighting. One thing I didn’t expect is how heavy it is. This thing has some weight to it, which actually makes it feel more like a solid display piece than a cheap novelty item. It can be used with batteries or outlet plug-in to operate. ⚠️One thing to be aware of: there’s no brightness control — it’s just on or off. The lamp doesn’t get hot, so I don’t have to worry about it being on for long periods of time, which is a great safety feature that is very appreciated. Overall, if you’re buying this as a gift or for a Jurassic Park fan, it’s a huge hit. Just go into it knowing it’s more about the look and vibe than bright lighting.

My fiancé absolutely loved this as a birthday gift. Perfect for any Jurassic Park fans out there. It’s a great size and gives the option for both batteries and a plug. The packaging the lamp comes in is very high quality and will make any Jurassic Park fans flip out for it. My fiancé is keeping the packaging because of it. It’s 100% worth the cost.

What a outstanding peace. My son and daughter-in- law LOVE Jurassic Park so much so that she walked down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme song being played by piano. This item is extremely cool and very well made. It is a bit smaller than I expected from the photos, and I’m not completely convinced it’s worth the price. That said, it’s still a really neat product, and my grandson is going to be thrilled
