The welds look good and it's clean and looks powder coated. I assume it was powder coated and that's what all the fine sand like stuff it. The package had a ton of it in it, and the legs each have what sounds like a spoonful of debris rolling around in there. What it is not is metal shavings. Like the other review noted, there are no pads on the feet as advertised, and the threads in the top of the legs are not useable. I'm not sure if it's just paint or if it's bad threading. I'm going to have to tap the holes again to get it together without seriously chewing up the bolts. I wouldn't recommend this for someone without some mechanical ability/tools.

Item is sturdy! Except it doesn’t have any footpads on it at all even though it advertises complete rubber bottom pads. Putting the screws in with an Allen wrench was impossible. Thankfully my husband was able to improvise and use other tools.
