Takes some getting used to, but it's a great time saver.
I got these because I'm the one that cooks, and hate cutting onions and peeling garlic. My fingers smell for days, even after washing them. They take some getting used to, but after you get the rhythm, it's a great time saver, and your fingers don't smell. Onions is another issue.

They bend out of shape fast!
I bought these in the hopes of making peeling over 20lbs of garlic easier. However they were not very helpful. I thought they would be more rigid -like nail clipper rigid- but these are quite flimsy and if you press hard on them (even a minuscule amount), they will bend and be useless. I had to keep bending them back into the shape they’re supposed to be and after 40 minutes decided to just forgo them. The only good thing is that they do help your fingers not get messy or garlicky but they get ruined so easily it’s not worth it.

Garlic lovers unite
This 3PCS Stainless Steel Garlic Peeler set is a kitchen essential that makes peeling garlic cloves a breeze—no more sticky fingers or frustrating tears! Each peeler features a sturdy, rust-resistant stainless steel construction with a sharp, curved edge that effortlessly slips between the skin and clove, peeling in one smooth motion without bruising the garlic. The three-piece set offers versatility: one for standard cloves, a slimmer one for smaller varieties like shallots, and a wider one for larger bulbs, all with ergonomic handles for a comfortable grip during quick prep. They're dishwasher-safe and compact enough to store in a drawer, and after weeks of daily use, they show no signs of dulling. Pro tip: For stubborn skins, give the clove a quick smash with the flat side of a knife first to loosen it up. If you're tired of tedious peeling, this affordable set saves time and hassle—highly recommend for home cooks and garlic lovers alike!

Not very strong
These worked well for the peeling of onion and garlic skin but when I tried to take the root middle out of a garlic clove they bent seriously out of shape. Luckily the package has three so I just threw the mangled one out and now I use them only for the very light and delicate work. And they do that delicate work pretty well!

Yes worth the money
They didn't work like the video but I was able to peel a pound of garlic in just under an hour. My hands didn't have garlic juice on them. Yes I would recommend these if you use a lot of garlic and hate to peel a lot of clovesb.

A Real Disappointment
I saw these in a video demonstration and thought this method of peeling garlic looked wonderful. But the ability to do the job well is in the experienced hands, and not the tool. These things are flimsy enough that the very first time I attempted to remove the base of a garlic bulb, as shown in the demonstration, the thing bent out of shape and became useless. I've peeled many thousands of garlic cloves over the years, I've experimented with all the methods I've come across, including the rubber tubes that you roll them in and the method of cutting the entire bulb in half crosswise and pressing down on each half with a broad knife blade, releasing the peel from each bulb--but even when you can get it to work for you, it's never as good as just using a small sharp knife. This particular tool isn't actually tweezer-like enough to work for me to pinch off the garlic skin with it. I gave up right away and went back to my usual method that has done well for me for many years. Don't waste your money.

Works as advertised
My wife loves these, I bought several and she uses frequently. She uses a lot of raw garlic and peels a medium size container full to keep handy in fridge. Easy to clean.
