If you're looking at these reviews wondering if you should buy the kindle version of this book, don't bother. The text is absolutely minuscule (because the physical book is square I assume) and there's only about four different fonts and six pages of actual instructions in the whole book, and that's being generous as the pages take up maybe half the actual page due to the formatting. Also lots of superfluous pages that are lined for practice. It took me less than five minutes to read through the whole thing and that was mostly swiping through the practice pages.HOWEVER the fonts that are included are nice, and if you want a work book with bare bones instructions the physical copy of this book is probably a worthwhile purchase.

Since I don't like writing directly on these books, I normally scan a page and print it or use very thin see-through paper to trace/practice. Pretty good book for the price.

Maybe its just me but I could not really get the hang of it using the included instructions. I didn't feel like it was very clear how to get it right. It was okay i guess though. Not thrilled but not angry either. Probably wouldn't recommend to anyone else but wouldn't tell anyone not to buy it.

This book Is the perfect introduction to lettering or calligraphy. Several types of lettering are explained, demonstrated, and there is plenty of room for practice in the book. I have to say I wasn’t timid dated by my first few tries. Practice really does help! Perfect for crafters!

Little less than expected still a good learning tool

Totally easy to follow and the activities are a great way to give yourself some practice. If you’re looking to learn or improve on your lettering skills, I would totally recommend buying this book.

Very little instruction in the beginning and the rest is just a book similar to what we used in school as kids to learn cursive. Mostly just a practice book and not a teaching and information book.
