Peppler does it again!!
My relationship with Ms Peppler’s recipes began at the beginning of the throes of the Pandemic, and it’s truly a sweet spot for me, having the time to explore new cocktail and food recipes and she was at the top of my list. A Tablé came out and I love that cookbook, and wasn’t sure she could match that but this is so good! Also, I love that it’s a book meets a cookbook, I legit have it on my nightstand and read in bed because the writing is well done and it’s like Peppler is having a conversation with you and the pictures are stunning. The recipes are the perfect mix of super simple and more complex, and so well laid out and explained. Honestly, don’t wait any longer and pick this up pronto! Kudos Ms Peppler!

Love this book!
This is a beautiful cookbook! It's a vacation to the South of France from my kitchen. I love the photography & the little stories she tells. The recipes are very approachable, nothing too complicated, just a couple of hard-to-find ingredients. She does specify European butter & sometimes I have it in the house but if I don't, I don't sweat it. I use the butter I have. One recipe asks for piment d'espelette. I've never seen that locally so I sub in Aleppo pepper. Meyer lemons are only available for a short time but I always have a standard lemon on hand. I've not been disappointed with a dish that I had to sub one thing for another.

The content is fabulous, but the printing in China is downright poor!
Great content, but the Chinese printing is horrible. Multiple blurry recipes and no it’s not my eyes! Also, pages where the paper is creased thus putting a seam down the page. Not sure what the publisher expected printing in China! Next time perhaps don’t cut corners and produce a quality product to match the content!

Gorgeous Cookbook
I’m obsessed with Mediterranean culture, specifically France. This cookbook not only has fabulous recipes that don’t require a lot of complicated ingredients, it’s also a joy to look at and read. The photographs and styling are elegant and colorful; they transport you to the south of France. Rebekah’s writing style is one of vast knowledge, but she also writes with swag and humor. I want to hang out with her! I have already mapped out what recipes I’m going to make this weekend. If you can’t actually be in le Sud, this lovely cookbook is the next best thing. I highly recommend!

Beautiful
Beautiful hard cover book full of beautiful photographs and food. I used to live in the South of France and remind me of all the wonderful eats and drinks I miss-now I can revisit!

Another beautiful book!
This is my first ever Amazon review, but the book is a MUST buy. I'm honestly not much of a cook (more of a Francophile), but I got Rebekah's first two books as a birthday gift & enjoyed them so much I pre-ordered this one as a gift for myself. I really enjoy her witty writing style and the photography is just beautiful too!

Lovely book but…
The pictures are lovely but the recipes did not serve me well. I did end up repurchasing as a gift for my best friend because it’s a pretty book.

Author is knowledgable
The author of this cookbook is a very reputed cookbook author. She definitely is very knowledgeable in the south of France and Provence . I love the variety of recipes . Added massive bonus is that they are healthy for the most part by my standards . Southern French cuisine is not drenched in butter and focuses more on olive oil, vegetables, fruits, Fish. I’m happy that I purchased this book.
