TRIPPED Travel Gear 3-Piece Travel Toiletry Bag Set

This was recommended to be by a popular travel blogger (who created the line!) and it is absolutely perfectly and thoughtfully designed for women who travel with reasonable amounts and sizes of toiletries. Really, I never glowingly review anything for travel but this hits the mark on every single level. The little compartments hold spots for q-tips, lens wipes, specialty floss, it's wide enough to fit an electric toothbrush, a full size bar of soap, a full size deodorant, vitamins for 3 weeks of travel, a travel mirror (also found on amazon), and so much more, plus a few basic cosmetics. The clear, liquids bag fit lotions, potions, and so much more. Please, just purchase this if you're extremely picky and want things to work just so! The price is a great value, and this would make a perfect gift as well.

Traveled the world for 7 months with this makeup/accessory bag and love it! Considering the price point, literally could not ask for a better lightweight organizer. Fits well in a carry on (all we had for our trip to 9 countries) alongside standard packing cubes because of the size. Can stuff an impressive amount of things into it without any special organization needed… still use it as my makeup bag back in the states because I really don’t need anything else! Of course it hangs up and keeps your things off of the sometimes questionable surfaces when changing hostels/hotels/Airbnbs every couple of days, definitely a must have. Didn’t really use the separate fabric cube, but could be nice for underwear or socks? Similarly, have used the larger more square clear bag, but only on domestic trips since it fits more, it weighs more and I didn’t need it for international travel. Only two minor complaints I could have is 1) I don’t looove the color combos that were available when I bought it well over a year now, but what evs, and 2) the bottom detachable clear section for liquids (which is really nice even though airports don’t seem to ever require you to take our liquids anymore?) has a tear through it now. But I’m really rough on my things and I definitely put it through the wringer so not even counting it. All things considering, held up awesome and the main bag and fabrics all in basically perfect condition still even with them being very lightweight! If you’re considering traveling a lot or maybe one bagging it around the world and don’t want to shell out for a super expensive and probably too basic of an organizer (most seem to basically have one pocket and be an upgraded zip lock baggie style), get this! You won’t regret it 😁

This is a nice kit with a *very* lightweight toiletry bag, a transparent plastic bag for liquids, and a separate bag advertised as a dop kit. The toiletry bag has a large number of compartments for organization. Some are ventilated, which I like when I have to pack something that might still be damp. The turquoise color is very nice. The "dop kit" bag is large, with no interior dividers, and it's versatile -- I have another bag this size that was part of a set of packing cubes and I can easily put a pair of women's size 8 shoes into it (or lightweight sneakers, but not those fat Hokas!). The second clear hanging pouch is not something I care about in particular, but may be useful to others. This isn't especially cheap compared to other offerings, but I waited for a sale, and would recommend watching the price history and buying on sale if you're not in a hurry.

This toiletry set was one of the most useful things I purchased recently for my 10 day out of the country trip. The three part hanging piece is smaller in overall size than some hanging travel bags I’ve seen in the past, but actually fits more, and zips up easily with so much in it. Easy to unzip and hang every time we packed up and unpacked at a new base. I fit SO much into it. Travel size face creams, travel razor, shaving cream, deodorant, q-tips and cotton balls, 10 days of compact travel washcloths, hair ties, and at least 5 travel bottles of shampoo conditioner etc. plus a few other things I’m forgetting. So easy to compartmentalize everything, and then access everyday. It packed up tight but had a slightly stretchy material that allows you to pack more than you would think. This piece alone would have been worth the purchase. However you also get the plastic see through zip up case (I used for over the counter medications, Advil, Pepcid etc, bandaids, and even some jewelry). It was sturdier than your typical one you’d pick up at Target, or when buying alone. Lastly the water resistant/waterproof bag. I used that for my brush and curling iron and face washcloth, but it’s easy to fold up into a teeny compact size (and not use), or fill with an assortment of things if you are reorganizing as you go. Would highly recommend this travel set.

Tried the bag for a one week trip to Hawaii. I find the hook helpful but am wary that it fits around larger towel holders. Otherwise, even at Airbnb rentals, there may not be a lot of hooks to hang stuff. This bag can not stand up on it's own. I like the different size pockets for organization. However, the back of the larger pockets is this fine mesh that I think a tube of lotion with sharper edges can puncture it easily. The best part is the clear pouch at the bottom because it's sturdy and is good for all liquids or wet stuff. With that, I feel like most items in toiletry bags are liquid so it would be great to provide a bit more liquid storage in this bag. Love the detachable shower part and the clip so it can hang anywhere. Sounds like it can get wet. Didn't use this in the shower but I do like it. But I wonder -- can you just get plastic zip pouches on amazon with a handle on top that will duplicate this design?

I’m really impressed. I’ve now taken this on 4 trips and it still looks brand new. No snags, no stretched seams, no tears, no stains, no signs of wear! It is extremely light weight which is great for one bag (or personal item) travel. I fly precheck so I don’t have to take my toiletries out, but I can fit every liquid item that we use as a family in the 311 bag. Since we technically get 4 bags, I keep medication, sunscreens and my makeup separate. Within a few hours of this arriving I transferred all my travel toiletries into the tripped kit. (fyi- any suggested changes I mention are purely bonus thoughts - Like when “top chef” starts critiquing a few grains of salt - because otherwise the there’s nothing negative to say - it’s that good) I saw reviews about the “material being thin” but I personally see it as a benefit. Reducing weight wherever possible. Love the added stretch mesh. The very top zipper (where I keep dry goods) has a pleated gusset on one side that lets you open wide to see all the way inside. The mesh pocket just below that (which I use for dental hygiene) has a pleat giving the option for a little extra space. Love the sectioned partition mesh pockets. I wish each of those little pockets were also pleated, to give a little extra option for compartmentalization. I always traveled with some type of clear plastic pouch inside my dopkit for my shower items. Something I can take into the shower with me and even leave on the shower surround. Love that this kit has both the separate TSA 311 carryon pouch and a snap on plastic pouch inside the hanging case, ready-to-go wet bag. It shows just how thoughtful and intentional the design is. I’m able to organize all the stages of getting ready in this kit…for my family of 4!! (Strategically using a few choice mini containers of course, see below for recommendations) 1. dry goods: cotton balls, q-tips, emery board, mini nail polish, sewing kit. 2. 4 tooth brushes, 2 tooth pastes, floss, mouth wash. 3. all my “mom” hair products (all of them!), hair clips. 4. Face products (whole routine!) & perfume. 5. Clear snap off shower kit: 2 different shampoos & conditioners, body wash, 2 faces washes, toner, detangler, lotion, soap. There is hook to hang on a rod, rack, hook, etc.. The 311 bag has a fasten clip that opens (awesome!) so you can also hang this on a shower rod or even the spout. And it can also clip to your suitcase if you don’t have precheck. There are 2 toothbrush slots on the outside for when this is hanging and straps on the back to sleeve in a wash cloth or scrub brush. There are even 2 small loops on the bottom edge of the middle section that you could loop carabiners. Very all purpose. The accessory bag is a great add on. It easily fits my travel dryer, diffuser, wide comb and round brush. If I didn’t have a dryer I could fit my hot tools. Now… I want more! And these are all things that I would buy if tripped made them. I would LOVE a compression set designed to fit in the gap of the trolly bars. I would love a makeup pouch with the thin nylon like the accessory bag (edit - they made one!!). Something that could be flexible but still offer a little structure and sectioned like the toiletry kit. Bonus if it fits in that trolly bar gap, and has a hang hook. There aren’t many flat, narrow makeup bag options. Most are really cube like and bulky. I’m considering 2nd set just to get another 311 and the new makeup bag. I wish we could buy them separately! I love my Hanging Travel Toiletry Bag from Tripped! It goes wherever I go because i have found it to be the best way to keep all of my cosmetics organized. With the small hook at the top (which tucks into its own pocket), the bag can hang vertically, with the three sections opened for easy access. All of the zippers work beautifully and it still looks like new even after three years of frequent use. A travel bag so practical and well made should be expected to be boring, but the Tripped Toiletry Bag Kit Set makes me smile every time I use it. The gorgeous Dusty Teal color adds even more to my travel bag happiness. Thank you, Tripped!

I was surprised how much this fit considering how compact it is. I was able to fit everything I needed (including a travel hairbrush, makeup, shampoo and conditioner bars, neti pot saline, floss sticks, and first aid odds and ends) into the hanging portion. The clear case fit all my liquids nicely. Both hanging mechanisms allowed for easy access and usage across multiple different hostels and Airbnbs throughout a 2 week vacation. This has already become a compact travel staple, very well-designed! Hoping it also holds up over time.

Perfect size for all my toiletries. I love that I can unhook the clear bag and that I can hang the whole kit if I want. So many pockets and a place for everything. Great quality, bigger than I expected and it's PERFECT. Best toiletry kit I've ever tried, makes travelling so much easier now. I don't have to bring multiple little kits to bring all my stuff, now everything stays together in one cute kit. Love the colour too :)

Very nice lightweight make up organiser. I see a lot of youtubers using this so i ordered to see if any good. I travel often and struggle with a decent organiser for cosmetics, i think ive finally cracked it with this set. The long pouch is a little flimsy but useful for packing my ghd’s and other hair bits. Its a bonus item and good enough. The hanging bag is very nice, folds neatly and plenty of zipped compartments which help to keep individual cosmetic items in place. The separate zippered bag is apparently TSA approved but not suitable for such use outside the US so i still have to put my liquids in a separate bag to start with but otherwise a very good and useful zippered bag with clear see through sides. It’s a well thought out product , very well designed and very lightweight. Perfect for traveling, I will get a lot of use from this.
