They work great
I would recommend putting a couple wraps of electrical tape or similar tape on the top rail. Allows the bolt to tighten up nicely.

Inexpensive fix!
My big dog was jumping our fence with ease. Purchased these poles as well as some galvanized fencing, problem solved! Easy to install and seems a though it will hold up! This was an easy, inexpensive fix.

Not as expected
These were extremely difficult to get on the fence (my husband had to hammer them on) but once on no matter how tight the bottom is they seem to fall from the weight of the chicken wire on them.

Wobbly and won't stay up
I used an IMPACT drill to tighten these things and they still fall over all the time. It's really irritating because I got this to extend the fence to keep my dogs in and they won't even stay up right.

Great solution if you need to make your fences slightly higher
These are the perfect solution if you need to make your fence slightly higher, and don't want to dig up and install new poles. Due to security, we were looking at making our fences taller, and the length of these were perfect. The poles are quite strong and sturdy, and were easy to install over our existing fence. They do not feel insecure or in danger of falling down at all, they feel like they will work well as a fence. And the extended height makes it possible to stop pets escaping as described, and also works great for hanging a privacy fence on, you can really block the view with this. If you're looking to extend a short fence, this could be an easy, economic option. Solid kit

Just what I needed
I have something getting into my chicken yard and stealing/eating my flock. We have lots of predators here and some of them can scale a standard fence. This set of extenders was a great way to get an additional two feet height on my chain link fence. The pieces are robust and match the chain link they are attached to. It was easy to install and feels secure. I am pleased.

For the most part they work
The bolts stripped out in a couple of them when I tried to take the nut off so I could move them down the fence. I have to have someone cut the bolts now.
