Continental Tour Ride 700 x 47c Bike Tyres (Pair)

I went from 700 x35c tyres to these 45c. They went on easily just using just my hands, they are a little narrow at 43 mm but I expected that and don't mind. They roll well. At 45psi they absorb the bumps and give a good ride feeling. They are puncture resistant. They have a reflective strip on the side wall. They are good for on road and off road tracks. They look great on the bike. I have used schwalbe marathons in the past and these feel better but cost half as much. What more do you want?

Fitted these fee days ago. Much better ride, quiet and smooth, but appear slightly narrower than 47cm.

I bought these tyres for my cyclo-cross bike to improve the comfort. I was surprised to see them at this price. Just been for my first ride with the new tyres and they have transformed the ride, the thicker profile gave me more confidence in the corners, they were just as fast as my old ones on open roads and they worked extremely well in heavy mud. They also were delivered quickly

These tyres fitted my 29" Voodoo Bizango rims perfectly, and are very smooth rolling. If you predominantly cycle on road, these tyres will be a lot better than your average MTB tyre. However since fitting I have suffered 2 punctures which is unusual over the distance I have covered, so I don't think the puncture resistance is up to much. I probably won't buy again and will try something else next time.
