These are not the sort of disc you would use to sand something right down, these are more for finishing to get that final smooth scratch free finish. The pack contains a mixture of grit ratios and therefore is a good set for someone unsure of what grit would be best for the task. The discs are felt backed and so easily attach to any sander with the velcro like hook grip system. I had no problem attaching a disc to my sander. As well as being felt backed the grit rating is conveniently printed on to the back of each disc. The discs are good quality and work as expected having what I would judge to be an average life span.These discs are idea for that final finish.

I got these for my orbital sander. I have used the 320 grit sand pads but was not very pleased with its performance. The disc is quite thin and it tears quite easily. The grit although stated as 320 does not feel like 320 but more likely to a finer one. The grit sizes that are in the package are 320, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 3000, total of 24 pieces. For one off or not very demanding job they could be a good choice but overall I am not very pleased with their quality nor performance.
