Instinct Freeze Dried Shakers, Dog Food Topper, Gut Health, 5.5 oz.

I have the pickiest dogs on earth and they love this stuff. I have been trying to add a bit more nutrition into their food (I make their food at home). It’s a good quality, there’s not a strong odor, and it’s lasted for quite some time. The cost is fair. They seem to like the flavor as well. Since I have been using it my girl has seemed to have less tummy trouble and that alone makes it worthwhile. Im repurchasing and would definitely recommend pet parents give this a try.

Excellent food topper for picky eater pups! We have huskies who don’t like to eat the same thing daily and this topper can make them drool! We’ve been using it for 6 months now, they’re still in love. We also use it with our foster pups who are nervous to eat. It gives their food a little pizazz and gets them eating!

We used to use Instinct Raw Boost Mixers in our dog's food as a topper, but he would start picking them out and not eating the food. So, we started crushing them up, and that seemed to do the trick. So, we were really happy when we found this shaker, which basically is just the mixers in a pulverized-from-the-factory form. Our dog loves these toppers so much that if we put his food down without them, he will sit and look at us waiting for us to get the shaker out just to add a few shakes over the top (which is enough to get him to finish all of his food). They are remarkably effective, and he hasn't got bored of them over a long period of time (at least a year?). We recently dog sat three other dogs of our friends and also found that they loved these toppers. Hesitancy to eat in a strange house was easy to fix with these toppers. The size is of this shaker is very adequate for our 80-pound Golden Mountain Doodle. We only need a few shakes for his food, and it tends to last at least a month if not two. From the shaker itself, it might be hard for someone to notice that chicken is a major ingredient. The color and texture and marketing for gut health makes it easy to mistake them for sweet potato/pumpkin toppers (and the ingredients do include both sweet potato and pumpkin), but this is primarily a freeze-dried chicken product. That's fine with us, but some people have dogs that have apparent chicken sensitivities, and so perhaps this topper won't be for them. So be aware that it is a chicken product despite looking like just another gut-health pumpkin/potato product.

My dog was not a fan of dry dog food and I bought this and started sprinkling a small amount on top and it has been a game changer. She is not very excited about dinner and eats all of it!

Really helps with my dogs digestion. I have a pitbull that makes it his mission to stink up the house. After a few days of using this on his meals we are much happier household. His deadly farts have significantly decreased for me and that’s a win.

After my dogs fell in love with another brand of crumbles that are no longer available, I found this brand. We've used their wet (pouch) toppers before, so I took a chance & bought a jar. It's just as popular with my big dogs, reasonably priced, and the uppers can smell it from across the room. I use it to make kibble tastier because their vet put them both on a diet.
