Such a great product. Leaves my hair soft and smelling great.

I've been using Chi Infra Texture for years. The last few I purchased, I had an issue with the spray nozzle and ended losing half the product. That stuff is too expensive to throw away. I decided to try something new. This Cake produce smells amazing. It's like a lemon sugar cookie! It does add texture, which I totally need, but it's just not the same as the Chi. I'm torn. Since this doesn't seem to have as much texture as the Chi, I find myself using twice as much. It ends up costing the same. But, wow, does it smell amazing!!

I'm a licensed stylist for 30+ years and I've used ALOT of different products LOTS salon brands and OTC! I noticed some people felt this made their hair greasy I didn't have that problem.I have medium thickness naturally curly hair thats been bleached w/balayage. So I have DRY frizzy hair. This product works great for me! Its not as strong as the texturizing root powders its softer! To me its not much different than a dry shampoo- It doesn't weigh my hair down and gives some texture. If you have problems with dry shampoo weighing your hair down then this may not be for you. If you are looking for extra extra oomph then the root powders may be better for you. I have no clue about smell complaints?? It dissipates so fast and doesn't stick around?? Big Deal! Actually I would like it better IF the smell stuck around!At this point I can't say for sure if I would purchase it again because I don't think the can will last very long and I feel there are better, stronger products out there like salt sprays, root powders and spray wax's- Time will tell! I do like the fact it doesn't dry my hair out! So I will update if I repurchase. Hold is soft! Even applying more didn't increase the texture/volume.I would imagine if you had thin oily hair this could weigh your hair down! Hope this helps!!

This is a horrible product. It smells like wet dog and made my hair oily. Would not recommend. Will not be purchasing again.

I have tried other texture spray and they seem to hold hair more aggressively. This is kind of a light hold at best. Not sure if it’s function. I do like the scent. Recently purchased a new hair spray that’s scent is god awful but I’m cheap so I hope to use it up- lol. This product. Does really help to mask that scent- lol. So will use together - at least until I can replace that hair spray it is Nexxus comb thru. I do not comment on smell often being a very subjective thing -but man the smell of that Nexxus is something else.

Smells great and definitely adds volume to my hair! It smells like all other original cake products. You can’t spray too much of hair products like this though-a little goes a long way

It smells great but makes my hair very greasy & it can not be returned....dissapointed‼️
