Prefect cable stand
This caddy is perfect for my application. I’m using it to hold a 1000’ roll of very heavy cat6a. The bar that the roll spins on is held with a Carter pin and removes easily. The roll spins easy on the removable bar. With heavy rolls it is a bit of a hassle to load the roll because you have to hold the weight of the roll while “threading” the bar through the stand. The stand is stable and durable. The stand folds nicely for storage and it is easy to move the loaded stand. Nice product simple design and reasonable price.

Great Help pulling multiple Runs across a Roof.
This Tool really helped us doing a large Camera Job on top of a Strip mall. Cable didn't tangle, everything went very smooth. Money well spent

This works
Currently using single roll version on jobs pulling 16/2 wire across retail stores. Cable rolls right off the spool. The cable caddys fold and go right into the trunk of my car.

Good and inexpensive cable spool that handles a 50# spool well
Two of these are working well for me on two 1000 foot spools of 1500MHz rated Cat7a (about 50 pounds total for each spool). I bought two of these (and two spools of cable) so I could put half as much work into running new connections for my house, and both have performed quite well, holding the spools up and letting them unreel as I pull the cable. It was easy to pull the cable from these even with such heavy spools. They are lacking anything like a loop through which the wire can be threaded to reduce the chance of it coming off the spool and wrapping around the spindle if you stop pulling suddenly, so I would advise pulling slowly and evenly, slowing gently as you get the cable to where you want it, to prevent the spool over-spinning (and the wire getting wrapped around the spindle instead of staying on the spool).I have tipped one over with a sudden yank, so slow, smooth, steady is how I advise using these all around -- starting and finishing a pull. It might help if you have someone to monitor from the spool end, too, but I don't have a good option there (nobody owes me a favour that even compares with helping pull cable, IMO one of the worst aspects of networking).Without the spool mounted, they can fold almost flat (seems less than two inches thick to me). Very convenient for when I do not have spools on them, and the pin that holds the spindle in is attached by a small cable, to make it harder to lose.I am not using them professionally, and I am not abusing them, so I can't comment about how well they would handle being tossed about or sliding about in a truck bed, but with occasional handling (picking them up and moving them with the spool still mounted) they show no signed of impending failure. I am maybe 33% of the way through my project; I intend to come back and update once this project is done (either to remove this note or to explain changes).

Easy to use.
Regular cable caddy. Works good, very light, easy to use and care. Doesn't take space in a car.

No problems so far
I do low voltage work and usually use boxes or bags of wire. Got several fire alarm jobs that we ended up running THHN. Was able to fit 4 500’ spoils of wire on here perfectly. Easily moved it around the job site and from floor to floor. Seems pretty sturdy. Not disappointed at all.

Good and sturdy
I'm using it right now for a 1000' roll of shielded Cat6A, which is large and heavy and it handles it fine.
