I did the 8 ounces to 1 gallon of water with my little hand pump tank sprayer. Took about 40 minutes to spray the entire lawn and one 32oz bottle, but it looked phenomenal afterwards. When you consider how great it looks afterwards, how much money you’re saving on water, and how much you’re saving on fertilizer it actually is not a bad way to go. Even if he had to do it every three or four weeks the cost is so inexpensive to do it’s worth it.Wish I would’ve taken before pictures. You would really appreciate the difference. The small side strip next to the truck was completely dead and brown as was the larger corner next to the driveway.

While it didn’t match the natural green of the grass perfectly, it was still a nice improvement over the dead spots. The 32 ounce bottle made about 4 gallon of paint, which covered a small area well.A few things to keep in mind: make sure to adjust your sprayer nozzle with just water before starting to avoid any messy application. Using disposable gloves and shoes you don’t mind turning green are a must, as the paint can be a bit splattery. It’s best to shake the bottle well to ensure an even color.For small areas, this product is convenient and a bit of a fun DIY. I used a circular motion until the grass looked slightly wet, which helped achieve a more even coating. Plan out your path ahead to avoid stepping on freshly painted spots.In terms of cons, I found the process a bit time-consuming and felt the price could be better. For larger areas, it may not be worth the effort, and I don’t think I’d go through this process again. However, for small spots, it works fairly well and is worth a try if you’re looking to touch up a few dead areas.

I rarely write reviews for products I purchase from Amazon or online, but I have to say I was extremely impressed with the PetraMax grass paint!!! It was easy to apply and the results were amazing. I used it to touch-up and cover some brown/dying areas of my lawn ahead of a weekend of entertaining company. I was able to easily blend it in with the green portions of the lawn. I received several comments about how great the lawn looked and no one even knew that I had painted portions!!!

GARBAGE. PLEASE do not buy this product. It's simply watered down rinse off. It does not cover anything. It will slightly darken light , yellowish grass but will not cover brown spots.I threw away $33 dollars. I rarely write negative reviews but I simply had to say something. I'm going to try the grass spray paint. 4k purchased it and gave it high ratings. At least the concentration will be stronger. I just need it for spot treatment after I use my weed kill which kills the weed but leaves ugly brown spots. Trial and error. You will see how useless this product is once you apply it to your grass. See pic. This is sprayed. It covered nothing.I do not recommend.

Gave 3 stars because although the color is great and coverage is decent, you need to make sure you are using some kind of “magic” lawn sprayer. I used a (what I thought was pretty good and never had issues with) good manual pump sprayer and it kept getting clogged up with sluggy paint that had actually dried hard within the spray handle mechanism. So I had to stop and fix /unclog the sprayer every so often. So what should have taken maybe 2 hours for my whole lawn (big lawn) took 6 plus. Most of the time spent unclogging the sprayer and running the mixed paint through a filter. I’d never buy again. For the price and the hassle it’s not worth it in my opinion.

This product is amazing! My sprinkler system broke and I was on vacation for a week and the grass was completely brown when I got home. I was afraid it would look like spray paint on grass, but it doesn’t. It looks totally natural. It’s so much better than I expected. The space shown in the pictures used 2 liters of spray. I’ll probably do one more coat to make it a little darker.
