Scarlet Darkness Women Renaissance Maxi Skirt Victorian Flowy Long Skirts

I LOVE this skirt so much! The color is great and it hugs my waist and hips in a really flattering way. The lace in the back is also super helpful for getting it exactly how tight or loose you want. Also this goes great with the scarlet darkness corset I found. It’s super flowy, not see through, and I think the material is nice! I’m 5 ft and I’m glad it’s high waisted because it doesn’t hit the floor (with no shoes)! I usually wear a 18/20 in pants and followed the size guide so I got the XXl and it’s great!!

I really like the simplicity of this skirt. I'm 5'7 and 185 lb. I ordered an XL and I think it's perfect. It is a little tight around the waist so it gives you a really good hourglass shape and flattens your tummy. I would recommend that if you have a larger tummy, you might want to order up because the lacing in the back does not affect size and it's not stretchy. The zipper is a little tricky to work with though. The material is slick and easy to clean but not cheap, and there's a nice little liner on the inside. It would be really cute for layering.

Skirt material is thinner with a slight sheen like others said, and perfect for a hot Ren Faire and walking around. The cut is exceptionally flattering, especially for those with a bit more of a mom body or a bit of a tire. The zipper was smooth and easy; with the ties in the back helping to get to perfect fit that you want. It has a gorgeous silhouette and hangs in such a way that it thins the waist and accentuates the hips. I’m also relatively short at 5’2 (155lbs) and was pleasantly surprised that it was the perfect length with it worn high waisted so it didn’t drag the floor. I paired it with a half corset and shirt also from Scarlett Darkness and it matched so well and was so cute. Bonus was the absolutely massive pockets which were so awesome and added in such a way that they don’t look poofy or stupid when full. I will be ordering more for everyday/outing wear. Absolutely in love with this skirt!

Not my favorite of the scarlet darkness skirts but its very beautiful and fits wonderfully! The tie in the back helps the skirt shape to your waist (so make sure to loosen that up really good cause the zipper won't zip properly if it's too tight). The material I've got mixed feelings about but I think it'll be nice for the summer. I absolutely do NOT like the undershirt that goes down to your knees; it's very thin and pulls weird when your walking and sitting. I think they should have made it full length like the outer dress. It's not bad tho if you've got leggings on underneath. The pockets are AMAZING and the overall design and look is very cute. It's perfect for an all occasion look from formal to casual to renessaince; I plan on getting a black corset to wear with it soon. Overall a very decent skirt; I'm truly liking this brand and want to get more of their stuff soon

Absolutely gorgeous, love it. Had the perfect flow, and has strings in the back to adjust the waist. Material was not rough at all, just simple and just the vibe i was going for. Doesn't hold a ton of heat but keeps you at a comfortable temp.

I've purchased a lot of scarlet darkness skirts before and they're usually amazing quality. This one however has such weird material. It's so loud. When you're walking it almost sounds like a wind breaker material rubbing together. It's also very static prone, steaming does help with this but doesn't entirely slove the problem. I feel self conscious wearing this because it literally sounds so loud. I guess if you want everyone to stare at you when you walk by because it sounds like you're wearing a tent go for it. So disappointing because this brand is usually so nice. I own 3 other skirts from this brand and the material is great on the other skirts.

This Victorian skirt is adorable with the distinctive waistband and tie in the back. I'm 5'7" 110 lbs hip size of 34" and it comes to my ankles, so the length is perfect for me. The material is thick enough to not be sheer, yet it has an under skirt. The back tie also has an elastic strip for comfort and stretchiness. Nice fabric too. Great value for the money. Highly recommend.

This skirt is nice and heavy. I like the lace up feature on the back, with the elastic waistband underneath it. I have yet to wear it for a cosplay, but it works as an everyday skirt, too!

I think the material is really good. When opening the package it was wrinkly. Ironing took some time it wasn’t super easy to iron out but stayed straight when wearing it. I’m 6ft/184cm tall it hit to my ankles, I wish for being tall that it could hit the floor. Used it for a Victorian style carolling gig. I like that it has a zipper to get into and also a cinch/corsette style to tighten the waist and helps shape the waist. Will for sure use it for other events or cosplaying.
