I have been through a crazy amount of hose splitters as they are much more simple then having multiple spigots. Having well water, Texas sun and a farm we can be very russ on these and honestly most don't last a season let alone a year.- Right out of the box this one feels very heavy duty. It feels twice as thick as your average splitter.- The threads are nice, clean and well defined.- It screws on nice and smooth, no catching or tilting.- The switches are larger than most others making it easier to turn on and off.- Operating the switches is very smooth, they are not hard to turn but also do not feel loose.So far this is working out great. We will have to see how well they hold up to the water and sun but just looking at the quality I have high hopes. I’ll check back in at the end of the summer.

This 2-way hose splitter is great for a spigot where you need 2 separate hoses. I use this in my backyard, so I have 1 shorter hose going to the vegetable garden & the other longer hose for my yard grass & for my deck.This splitter is heavy duty made of high-quality polished chrome connectors with quality rubber covering & high-end plastic/metal nozzle fittings.The nice thing is you can run two hoses simultaneously or one at a time as there is a shut off for each hose on the connector you're using.Please understand that depending on your water pressure, the flow will decrease overall when you run both hoses at the same time.This is a unique product that fills a void when you don't want to drag a hose around from spigot to spigot. This splitter connector allows me to use 2 hoses in different parts of my yard without the headache I just mentioned above.I'm giving this 2-way hose connector/splitter a full 5-star rating with a strong recommendation.

The media could not be loaded.  This will be used outside on a hose valve to split the water between a hand held hose and a manual sprinkler system. It’s freezing here now and that valve has been drained and winterized. To show how easily this valve can be turned off I attached it to my slop sink in my heated basement. It came in a box with a washer already in place on the inlet and two others for the two garden hoses (plus a spool of Teflon tape) that will be attached on the outlet in a couple of months, that was a delightful find in the box. It also included a card mentioning the 10 year warranty and the contact information for the seller in case of issues.It will be replacing a similar splitter valve but that valve has these quarter sized handles for opening and closing the valves and frankly, they are very difficult to operate, usually requiring thumb and index fingers on one hand and grabbing the valve with the other hand for leverage. This wonderful valve has long handles that I can open and close under water pressure with one finger! My pinky no less! The valve handles are large enough to allow a good grip and a bit of leverage. They are smoothly operating. The package includes extra washers and even some Teflon tape if you have some problem with a proper connection. The male fittings are a bit rough. The splitter does have quite a constriction down to less than a half-inch pipe.The splitter does have some casting artifacts and I wonder why the mold line in both the metal and plastic parts line up so well. There also seems to be a bit of plastic slag inside.Good, solid, feel and does the job needed.

This is a really nice hose splitter, with every aspect having thoughtful design. Most importantly, it has large, easy-turning levers. The inside of the main, female connector is brass and it fits onto the faucet tightly. The outside grips on this connector also make it easy to screw on the water faucet. My only concern is that this outside part of the female connector is plastic, rather than the rubber of the rest of the outside, but it works perfectly now. I hope it doesn't crack over time. The threading for the two male connectors is longer than most hose splitters (I own 10), giving a secure connection to the hose. There are two extra gaskets for the main valve and a small roll of plumbers tape included with the splitter. It is also well-priced.

These typically get heavy use in a household and are outside in all weather conditions so I consider myself lucky if I get a season out of them. I'm confident I will with this. I use these on my outdoor faucet to run a hose to my deck on one side and the other runs to a timer and soaker hose for my garden beds. So it will get used every day from April to October. Came with two hose gasket/washers and teflon tape. Since I use a timer, the main faucet is left on and it's critical that this doesn't leak. Very pleased with it.

Perfect. VeryGood and very well made with all the right materials in all the right places. No cheap material used. Tight. Just the perfect splitter for providing two hoses from one water source inside my greenhouse. This will be used often when watering starts- even now, in early February, I’m able to use this splitter when watering/soaking the roots of my fruit trees -two at a time! Perfect!

The valve opening is less than 5/16". Will work, but dont expect full volume down stream. Feels like mostly plastic, but they claim metal. I tried to cut the threaded ends with a box cutter, it feels like metal, but has a plastic look about it. For the price it is a good value, but I would expect this to be a disposable short term solution. I have has others that looked similar and they only last a year or two.It does function and the valves are easy to open and close.
