SSS Company SSS Company S.S.S. Tonic Liquid Large, Large 20 oz (Pack of 3)

I had to come write a review because I feel like anyone who is needing iron, energy or suffering from severe anemia like I was needs this. Ok, I will be real about the flavor of the SSS tonic, yeah.. It's pretty gross, but not any worse than any prescription cough syrup you've ever received from your doctors office. I own a measuring cup that looks like a large shot glass. It measures ml's, ounces, teaspoons, and tablespoons. I measure out my 3 tablespoons of SSS tonic in the measuring cup and then pour a glass of orange juice in another cup. I take the shot of iron and quickly rinse it down with juice and let a little more juice sit in my mouth a little to really clear any flavor. Orange juice is a perfect chaser since vitamin C helps you absorb iron. Before taking SSS tonic I was having every scary anemia symptom in the book, caused by heavy menstrual periods. I didn't know I was anemic, I was actually scared that I was having heart problems when I went to the doctor. Severe palpitations, palor, pale skin inside of my lips and gums, cold extremities, unable to warm up, lethargic, super tired... I feel great now. The tonic reduced all of my symptoms within a few days and I no longer had any after a couple of weeks but continue to take it daily because I'm not going through that hell again. The B vitamins give you a very noticeable energy boost, I actually feel my body heat up after I take it. This 3 pack of 20oz bottles (the ones at the store are 10oz and last a week with daily use) is the best deal and most convenient way to get your SSS tonic. You only save a little bit of money but you get three big bottles at once and don't have to keep going to the store weekly to purchase 10oz bottles or worry that your local store might be out of stock. I highly, highly recommend to everyone who is iron deficient. Especially all my fellow women out there suffering from heavy periods. Take care of yourselves preferably before you get anemia like I did. I was like a sloth attempting to care for myself, my kids, my household and work. I feel great and actually have energy again. I purchased this supplement with my own money and will continue to do so as long as I need it. I just reviewed to help those who were wondering about buying this vintage looking tonic. IT WORKS, IT'S WORTH IT AND IT DOESN'T HURT YOUR STOMACH LIKE OTHER IRON SUPPLEMENTS. BUY IT!!!

I never leave product reviews, but for the first time I feel I must! I am anemic and had taken IV iron infusions for a year after a blood transplant, yes that anemic. I was referred to this product when I started my level was 8.9 and in 3 months of 3 TBSP every morning an hour (that is the secret) after my morning coffee. My levels rose to 14.4 which is healthy range! For the first time in about 20 years I am not tired or sluggish all the time! After a year of the IV iron infusions my levels only increased 1 point! After insurance I was paying $100 out of pocket for each monthly infusion. This is absolutely more effective for me and cost efficient than any other Iron product over the counter or prescribed! The taste to me reminds of doing a shot of alcohol with friends, definitely not thick and horrible like most cough medicines! I will use this product for life!

I’ve been using this product for years and prefer it over any other iron supplement. I like the fact that it has both iron and be vitamins. The liquid form is a faster absorbing iron supplement. If you take iron, make sure you take it with vitamin C for better absorption. Although the flavor is not the best, I have become accustomed to it since I’ve been taking it for so long. It may take a new user a while to get used to it. I recommend just drinking some thing with flavor right after you take the supplement. But other than the flavor it’s a very good product if you need to supplement your diet with iron.

I absolutely love it if your low in iron this is a great supplement. It gives me energy. It doesn't have the best taste but it is worth it!

This old school product worked perfectly for me. My mom didn't seem to get the same results. I will buy again.

I usually buy for $7 a bottle. My last purchase I believe in March was 3 large bottles for $21. Now the price $53!!! Taking it all my life because It works well, but no longer affordable.

I love this product I have used it before years ago my grandparents my mother used it the only thing I couldn’t open the carton button cartons crushed, I ordered 3 boxes after I broke the seal I tried and tried to open it I could not twisted top off to open it I open the next box and sure enough the top came right now so I don’t know what to do now that this top is not working but the product is a good thing to have to use especially with cancer treatment iron is very important, the top is messed up.
