these are great little thermostats however don't get the bass wet the main unit that tells the temperature because it will never read correct again it will not dry out and it will never ever work I use mine to make sure the temperature of the tank water and the temperature of the water I'm adding are perfect they're accurate they're quick and they're easy to use just don't get the head of it wet

Very accurate bought four and two quit working in less than 2 months. I think it may be the battery. Although I keep forgetting to purchase new ones I think the the batteries are just dead.

Accurate and effective to .1 degree. 1 quit working after 3 months. Showed much higher than actual temperature. I submerged another one accidentally so it quit working. Last ones failed within 3-4 mo.sI am going back to using a floating thermometer.

I have not checked them against a calibrated thermometer, but all 4 read within .1F and set next to half a dozen other digital thermometers, they read the same. I'd say that's good enough to call them accurate. Incredibly inexpensive but they work great!

I wanted to use these outside in the sun for pool temperature and the solor heater water temp.I did put them into a water resistant box.works great on the fish tank.

Been using 4 of these for about 2 weeks and one of them has stopped working. Take care with your setup and don't trust the suction cups to stick well to all smooth surfaces.

These are great thermometers for your aquarium. They are cheap and fairly reliable. Buy at least 2 cuz once and a while one will freak out and either the display gets dead pixels or it shows an incorrect temp. Usually from abuse or water damage to the display...
