XMONDO Color Blue + Purple Shade Shift Depositing Mask, Hair Dye, 8 Fl Oz

Color turned out beautiful and very deep cherry/berry colored. I was hoping for more pink tones but overall it’s vibrant and really pretty. There are def multiple uses in one jar, if you have an undercut and medium length hair like me (or have thin hair) I think this one container would definitely be enough for my hair pre cut but it would not be multiple uses, as I have very thick and wavy hair an it was medium-long. It also left my hair feeling very soft after using it and it smelled neutral to slightly pleasant. The wash out was spectacular with very little color loss after rinsing all the dye and shampooing and conditioning. The water was tinted very light pink when rinsing out the shampoo.

The first thing I have to say is this stuff smells ANAZING! I have natural blond hair that I bleached. The color took really well and turned out really pretty. Your hair will feel soft and healthy after use. Great product. I will absolutely be purchasing more colors.

I have only used XMondo colour now for over 5 years. Hair is so healthy and strong even after 5 years of bleaching. Hair is soft and shiny. I also get compliments on my colour from strangers multiple times a week. It is the best colour and formulation on the market fact. I won’t use anything else and I’ve tried all of them. It even fades to a pretty shade between colouring. I can’t find anything negative about this colour line. Even the design of the tubs is designed to make it easy to use and get all the colour out. It’s just perfection.

This is the best hair dye I've ever used! The color is so vibrant and gorgeous. The hair where its darker where my hair line and back is bc I put Gel and oil in my hair so it appears darker but its not. It all matches. It does stain when you get it on your skin applying it take an alcohol wipe or if you have some in a battle take a rag with the alcohol and scrub your skin and itll come off. But this is the best dye I've used and its cheap. Think ab it manic panic you have to get 2 bottles of that for my hair. Thats $15 a piece so add those and you get $30 which is how much the dye is here and its 8oz and the manic panic is 4oz all in all a great product and seems that it going to last a while! If you're thinking about getting it GET IT!!

AMAZING PRODUCT BUT I definitely didn’t get 3 uses out of the bowl. I was expecting to have atleast a little left over since I have heavily layered curly hair. Half of my hair is at my collar bone and half is around chin length, and I have bangs. I barely was able to fully cover my head. I had a thick horitonzal section left when the container was nearly empty. I had to put conditioner in to have a little more to cover it with a random lighter pink. Other than that the color is absolutely gorgeous I love it and my hair has never felt better. Even before doing two full bleaches, my virgin curls felt worse than they do now after xmondo’s mask. My hair is so soft and my curls have fully come back. I thought I fried my hair after my second bleach but this hair mask saved me!! Completely beginner friendly as I never have done this before and the thick texture is so easy to apply. Also it smells so good! Perfect product, definitely worth the price! The first picture is the base before coloring, a warm mix of a level 8 and 9. You do not need to be a toned level 10 to have this bright color.

I used got2b box dye every month for a whole year. My hair definitely felt the damage from the peroxide but it was vibrant pastel pink/purple that was labeled as a metallic amethyst so I ignored it. The pain of dead hair is just a part of having something nice. My hair is now stained that color, it just won’t leave even after 2 months of no dye it’s still as vibrant as before. I seen that this dye was a lot better for your hair so I gave it a try. My hair took the whole container but it lasts two months before I think I need to redo anything I could probably go three months, it sticks to your hair very well and blends amazingly with my box dye color, I have purple like shown in the product photos but my under hair is a beautiful dark plum purple that pops through to make perfect 2000’s punk highlights. I’ve used this product for almost a whole year now and I’ve used a couple different shades of purple, all of them are beautiful and get me constant compliments. If you want a mask that makes your hair feel healthier and look healthier while also turning you and everything you own a slight tinge of purple, this is definitely for you. It’s hard to see in my photo because it’s two months old at this point but it is still vibrant! THE DYE DOES WASH OUT OF CLOTHES AND WASH CLOTHES/ TOWELS. USE RUBBING ALCOHOL OR ACETONE TO GET IT OUT OF YOUR TUB! IT DOES WASH OUT OF TILE WITH SOME ELBOW GREASE.

I love the intensity of the color, my hair felt so healthy after. I was very very happy. BUT! I NEVER saw ANY purple. It stayed a dark blue. Faded a little with washing. Was excited for the shift that just never happened. Will buy the xmondo super blue next time.

I’m someone who has been using semi-permanent dyes (mostly pink, but also orange, purple, and red on occasion) for decades now. So I know they work best on a light blonde starting base, cold water, etc etc. Recently I tried to use another brand’s periwinkle because I wanted to still have a not so natural color, but I wanted to go to something lighter that would blend in better as I get more grays. The pink I had been using (IroIro Neon Pink) would not come all of the way out and the periwinkle wouldn’t take. So I decided to move onto a different pink that might fade better. My 6 year old picked this Purple + Pink Shift for me. I watch Brad’s videos, I why not? Attached is my starting color, day one, and after 3 shampoos. The pros: - It left my hair feeling nice (though to be fair most semi-permanent dyes do that) - The color was so pretty. My hubby walked in while I was dying it and because some of my head was in a natural light and some not, he asked me if it was purple or pink — so yeah it does look different in different lights. - Big container that is full to the brim and easy to get out. So many other colors are much smaller AND in containers where you will never get all of the dye out. Cons: - The price - it is much spendier than any dye I have used before. That said you do get more than any other one I’ve bought and I used much less to coat my hair well. - The biggest con is longevity, which is to say it doesn’t last nearly as long as any other semi-permanent brand I’ve tried and I’ve tried a LOT of them. If you’re someone who changes your hair color a lot, this could be a pro. For me, I am lazy and want it to last, my faded picture was after 3 shampoos. No other semi-permanent pink (or purple) has ever faded that quickly and almost completely that fast. Overall? Great color. I was worried about fragrance as someone with eczema and migraines that can be trigged by fragrances, but this one triggered neither. A little goes a long way so if, like me you have shorter hair, this could last a while even if you have to redo it every few weeks — of if you have longer hair, this tub will probably be enough. If you want to change your color often, it’s worth it. If you want longevity? Look elsewhere.

did not work at all on my black hair

Good colour even on dark brown hair, definetly stains so use towels, clothes and sinks, etc you don't mind staining. Smells really good, did my whole head and still had some left over. My hair is really soft afterwards and retained a lot of the colour. I left it on for 2 hours and it came out very nice. Definetly recommend.

Would highly recommend this product. As been a hairdresser for the past 40yrs it's so refreshing to use a product that works. Hats off Brad !!!!
