Best option for child sleeping with you in a split king
Our 3yo daughter has been sleeping with us the past 6 months. She usually slept in the middle and consequently our mattress have slid on the bases making a large gap in the center. We’ve been stuffing blankets down in to keep her from sinking too far down. Or she ends up sharing one of our twin mattresses with us. I almost broke down and bought a king mattress to fix the problem. I didn’t want to since my side alone was over $3k and I love it. Now I’m looking for a king mattress to resolve the problem not knowing how long my child will be sleeping with us and wanting something just as comfortable while spending as little as possible and then having to find space to safely store $4500 in mattresses until she sleeps in her own room. As a last ditch effort I figured we can’t be the only ones with this problem so I searched and found this. It’s a great design with the belt the warps around both mattresses and through the loops. While easy to install, would probably be pretty frustrating to do by yourself. An extra hand to hold belt in place on one side is very helpful. Not a fault of the product, just the nature of it. All seems very well made. After a week of using the product, ours does sink in the crack a bit but I think that’s because the damage had already been done. Our mattresses touch at the bottom but not the top. Wife’s side leans away a little, I think because she has a hybrid mattress, therefore always having a gap at the top that the pad can fall into. If we had this from the get go, I think it would have solved this problem. Regardless, even though the pad sinks in a little, the belt keeps the mattresses held together and not move apart and it going through the loops of the pad at top and bottom keep it from sinking all the way down. Bottom line, my daughter can sleep in the middle comfortably without sinking down between our mattresses. Very happy I found this for under $50 and didn’t have to buy another mattress! Would recommend to anyone!

Product Design “Upgrades” Significantly Reduced Quality & Effectiveness
I purchased one of these Bedia bed joiner back in like 2019. It always worked great; however, I gave it away like 8 months ago as I hadn’t had a split king bed for about a year before I gave it away. (I guess I should have written a review expressing my appreciation of the good design.)I recently got two Twin XLs for a guest bedroom and needed a bed joiner again and reordered the same product from my previous order (for the same price). I received it two days ago and I am not happy with the new product they are producing.1st Key Difference : The “upgrade” to Velcro from the ratchets strap is the opposite of an upgrade. The Velcro is paper thin and has no strength for holding two mattresses together. I didn’t even have anyone laying on them and shifting the beds from natural movement yet. Not to mention, the Velcro threading is already “stringing” for lack of better worlds. Because I planned to join and breakdown the twin xls to make a king bed often, the bed joiner needs to be durable (as the old one was). I am not taking a chance on this cheap Velcro strap hooks giving up after like 5-10 build ups and breakdowns. Also, be careful of the Velcro snagging the edge of your mattress during install and breakdown.2nd Key Difference : the length of the loops have shortened. This forces the straps to hold near the top edge of your mattresses, which allows for more slippage when pressing near the edges of the bed, or not properly tighten the Velcro straps because you won’t have a uniform level of the strap all the way around the circumference of the bed.I understand cost cuts to improve profits due to risen material costs to remove the metal part of a ratchet strap and to shorten the length of the loops. However, these changes vastly decreased the effectiveness of the product. In addition, it is false advertisement to show the ratchet strap in your product pictures.I am returning this bed joiner as I have found a better product that still includes the ratchet strap and the joiner with two loops on either end for only $3 more than I paid for the cheapened Bedia version.I rated the following because of aforementioned details.Comfort : Not rated. Does not apply.Value for Money : 3 stars. Less value but I understand cost increases on metals. But the velcro could have been thicker/more durable. First version with the ratchet strap would have been a 5 stars.Easy to use: 2 stars. You need to be delicate with install as the Velcro is very lightweight and can snag your mattress. But obviously, Velcro isn’t hard to use. It’s just more appropriate on a child’s shoe.Overall : 3 stars. I know Bedia CAN make a good product but this is an example of where they should have chosen a price increase instead of cutting value and quality.

Worked much better than expected!
The bridge was very easy to install between a pair of twin beds. I put a good mattress cover over the bridge and beds and added king size bedding. An inexpensive way to transform a former kid's bedroom into a comfortable guest suite. After sleeping on the bed, any doubts about how comfortable the bridging would be were put to bed. It felt like it was born as a king. Highly recommend

Does not work
Unfortunately, this product does not work and takes way to much work to set up. We used it for two months. The plastic clips are cheap and break easily. It always slips in between the beds and makes the crack bigger. We even tried using another product with it that holds the bed together. Nothing. It just does not work. The straps that go around the bed are a nightmare to put on and tighten as well.

Wonderful product
We got this product for my wife. She has had several back surgeries + neck surgeries. We have a divided sleep number bed and if she falls between the crack of the bed she hurts worse than she already does. This keeps her from sinking in the crack. It doesn't take much to install, just a little patience. It goes around the entire square of the bed then tightens like a ratchet strap. It works perfect!

Not at all worth the money ; good concept but doesn't work .
It definitely sinks, like every single night it has sunk in the middle of our bed. It's absolutely agonizing! Moreover it's completely pilled!! Feels uncomfortable to sleep on because it's all lumpy and folds over and scratches in the sleep. It should cost no more than 17.99 in my opinion. Since it's so expensive I'm even more frustrated !
