Easy chai tea!
I picked up this tea premix out of curiosity and it has turned into one of my favorite quick comfort drinks. Each sachet is perfectly portioned, so there is no measuring or guessing. Just add hot water and you get a smooth cup of chai with a nice balance of sweetness and spice. The flavor is richer than I expected for an instant mix. It has that classic masala chai taste with cardamom and ginger standing out the most. It is not too sweet, which I appreciate, since a lot of instant teas lean heavy on sugar. For me, one sachet is the right amount for an afternoon pick-me-up or a quick morning cup when I do not have time to brew tea on the stove. The convenience factor is what makes it shine. I keep a few sachets in my work bag, and it is great to have a good cup of chai anywhere with just hot water. This tea has great flavors, and I love that all I have to add is water. However, if you’re using a larger mug you may need to add your choice of sweetener.
