Awesome kit

I bought this on the 21st June.I then had an email to say it wasn't in stock, and as a free upgrade I could have the larger one instead-no extra fee. This was pretty helpful, the larger one is more expensive so I thought it was a "win win" situation.I didnt use this item until July when I went on holiday for two weeks.I used this daily for energy gels etc and the overall performance was average.The clear material that is either side of the zip has worn considerably and there noticeable gaps big enough for a finger to go between the material.The stitching underneath the clear material is also falling apart which together.I emailed the company recently, attaching photos of this and asked if I could swap it for a new one.They promptly replied and said they hadn't experienced anything like this before, but because I ordered it so long ago they wouldn't refund or replace this free of charge.They offered me a discounted price to buy the same item again. This offered to sell me another one at a special price".The "special price" was £4 off the original price....I was expecting a better deal.I didn't think £4 off was very "special" so I turned down the replacement and said I'd buy a better bag elsewhere.If my scenario is a one off/never experienced before, then surely a good company would be willing to replace the item wth no extra charge, or refund me in full.Think twice before you buy this. It looks the part but it really isn't robust enough to endure use for a long time.Topeak is relatively expensive so I thought I was getting a good item.Buy better from elsewhere.
