I was using hive but they are rubbish and fail, this however was easy to use and very accurate.
I use these to drive electronic relays which in turn take all the load away from the devices, upshot is they run cold and should last forever. The Hive units were never accurate and in the end one failed on me after about a year. These are bang on accurate all the time (and don't call home all day long). Takes a bit more time to setup but once in place you can forget about them. My next job will be to use these to control underfloor heating. That has suffered at the hands of bad electricians with several control units burning out, again I'll use these to turn floors on and off via 90A Electronic relays taking all the power load off delicate timers and thermostats.
