The source is wherever it was grown, at a farm, or could be out in the wild, but it would be too expensive for the company to harvest it in the ancient, traditional way out in the wild; customers would pay a hefty price for it.

What's the best way to cook this rice?

I just make it 1 part rice to 4 parts water, add some chicken bullion paste (better than bullion) and pepper. Cook in a rice cooker until it clicks off. perfect every time.

Will the rice split open after sokeing for a few hours?

I never soak my rice but, I understand it takes 24 to 48 hours of soaking before the rice opens. If you soak it be sure to keep it refrigerated and change the water every 12 hours or so.

Organically grown ?? who certified it as organically grown ??????

As you know, only the honest family or farmer would know if it was actually organically grown. A "certifying" entity is only as honest as the individual. I have found all of the products I have bought from this company especially clean and of high quality. I have chosen to believe their claim.
