The book is well written and easy to read. Contains excellent examples with sample code. After reading this book you will be able to use Camel successfully. If you want to work with Camel, this is a must read.

Book came in great condition

I don't usually go in for this kind of thing but I really needed to understand our integrations solution at work that was built using this. The book really makes it a lot easier to understand!

This book is very detailed on the topics of Camel. It speaks tot he reader as a developer would in a straight-forward and not presumptuous approach. Its a big book. Lots of great tooling information around Camel and its EIP's.

This is the most advanced book that I ever read about Camel. You can find very useful topics to use in your projects well.

As with all books from this publisher, this book was direct and clear and extremely helpful.

Unless you're an experienced open source developer well-versed in Maven, the examples will not help. The code-heavy examples treat Camel more as an application development platform than an integration bus. There is, for example, minimal mention of SOAP, one of the most common messaging protocols. The emphasis on code leaves little room for non-code configuration options, which receive very little mention.With all the code, there is no detail on why or how a given component should be used, or any key features or options. In short, no practical advice. ..

Great examples. Used it as basis of an ESB class I was teaching

Very nice book. It’s really clear, well written and it contains a lot of examples to allow us to better understand how to use Camel in practice. I highly recommend this book. Congrats to the authors.

I had been waiting for this book, its really good book. But I feel its over priced.
