Life saver
I'm copying feedback from Mauro which saved me as well and it's all exactly as he explained. You need additional adapter with this one and then you can connect it properly. I've added my photos. Hope it helps someone. This adapter saved me. It was the only product I could find on amazon or anywhere to connect a single mixer bath tap to a shower hose. Now I finally have a shower. Ideally it should be a M28 to 1/2'' sot hat you can directly connect a shower hose. But I bought this one and also a 3/4'' to 1/2'' reducer and all fits perfectly. Look for "Pipe Connection Reduction Fittings Chrome Female x Male 3/4" x 1/2" for the reducer if you need to attach a shower hose.

Perfect to connect a M28 (28mm) bath tap to a shower hose.

Update to previous review
This is an update to my previous review. I found there is a removeable piece on my hose connection which then allows this adapter to work. My guess is the 3/4" dimension quoted in this product listing does not refer to the outside diameter of the fitting but rather to the size hose it is being used for. Regardless, this needs to be made clear in the listing.

The screw-threads are not perfect, so I put on there some teflon tape ...
The screw-threads are not perfect, so I put on there some teflon tape to avoid leaks. Anyway it solved my problems (connect a tap mixer M28 to a shower handheld). Recommended

No rubber fitting
