This works nicely on my skin and it's not irritating to me. I don't generally have sensitive skin though.

I really enjoy light, watery toners. I use them to prep my skin for my serum step, and sometimes I even mix some with serums to aid in spreading the serum evenly over my skin. I also like to have different toners on hand to address my skin's current condition, which varies based on the humidity and my life (like sleep & hydration levels), so I was glad to be able to try this out to see how it fit in my skincare arsenal.This has some of my favorite ingredients to see in skincare such as niacinamide and vitamin C, plus some excellent botanicals that agrees with my skin like heartleaf and cica. It also has gentle levels of exfoliating acids, which not only help remove dead skin but also help improve hydration when not used in high quantities (which can cause peeling).After patting this on, it absorbs quickly without a residue. I didn't experience skin irritation. The exfoliating effects are really gentle, so most skin types can use this AM and PM for a gentle, maintenance level of exfoliation. It takes time to see results from the niacinamide and vitamin C, but both of those ingredients are known for their antioxidant and brightening abilities.Since this has ascorbic acid, make sure to store in in the box or in a dark place. Ascorbic acid is notoriously unstable, and light accelerates the process, so use this up to get the full benefits.It's labeled as fragrance free, but my nose definitely detected a mild scent (many may not notice it but my nose is sensitive). After looking over the ingredient list, the culprits were immediately apparent. This product has anise and raspberry ketones, which are primarily used for fragrance but also have antioxidants. I'll give them a pass for calling this fragrance free since these technically are dual purpose ingredients, but I suspect these are added more for their perfuming (or masking) ability.Anise is rated EWG 3 (which is the next level down from green) due to slightly higher than average allergy potential, so the all EWG green claim is incorrect. Salicylic acid is not EWG green either, but I don't count actives against a product since the desired function is what penalizes it (ie too much acid can be irritating). This is a really nice toner with loads of helpful ingredients. No stinging, redness or irritation. It really seems to balance out my skin and get it ready for applying serum. My skin looks more clear, and well-moisturized. Slight pleasant fragrance. Quality product and a reasonable price.

This tonor has been so good for my skin prep before my night or day routine. This tonor has helped my other products soak in and has given me moisture. It has helped me in repairing my skin barrier from damage.

So I have very sensitive combination skin. I've been using this for 2 weeks and it's working great! No breakouts. I use it in the night and my skin feels hydrated in the morning. It is gentle and little watery but it doesn't affect the effectiveness. It says fragrance free but It does have a mild scent which I love.
