Dorset Seaweeds is a family run business specializing in the production of seaweed concentrates for Horticulture, Agriculture and Forestry. We harvest all our own seaweed, so we know we are using only the freshest ingredients, taking less than 24 hours from sea to fermentation barrels, where it slowly brews for a minimum of 3 months. Dorset Seaweeds have been granted a harvesting license from The Crown Estate and we work closely with Natural England to ensure our seaweed is sustainably harvested producing a completely natural and environmentally friendly product - LIQUISEA. No chemical or processing aids are added during the production of LIQUISEA and the end result is a liquid concentrate containing essential nutrients and hormones to promote plant health, increase yields and produce resilient crops. LIQUISEA is our plant growth enhancer containing nothing but our special blend of mixed seaweeds, Laminaria hyperborea, Laminaria digitata, Fucus vesiculosus and Fucus serratus all sustainably harvested by hand on the Dorset coast. Seaweed contains many natural plant hormones such as auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins and betaines and these in combination with the other active ingredients such as alginates, mannitols and amino acids have been proven to enhance plant growth by increasing protein & carbohydrate production as well as prolonging the production of chlorophyll and aiding photosynthesis.
