We were introduced to this through our first dog's trainer during obedience work. It's marketed as a complete air-dried food, not a treat, but the second we saw how hard our dog worked for a single piece of this, we knew it had earned a promotion to high value treat status in our house. Turns out we're not the only ones doing this. We read reviews on it prior to purchasing. It's air-dried food that's technically meant to be a full meal or topper ends up getting repurposed by owners as a premium training reward because the smell and taste get such a strong reaction out of dogs. We also saw how many people said that their dog goes wild for this, some even comparing the excitement level to a genuine addiction. The formula itself checks out too. Ziwi Peak uses a high percentage of real meat, organs, and bone with minimal fillers, which likely explains why the smell alone is enough to get most dogs fully locked in. The price is the one real catch, and it's a steep one. This is consistently one of the pricier options out there. But since we only use it sparingly as a jackpot reward rather than a daily food, the cost has never been a dealbreaker for us. Bottom line: Overkill and pricey if you're trying to use it as an everyday food or treat, but it's an excellent high value reward for training sessions or moments when you need serious focus from your dog. A little goes a long way.

After doing tons of research on which healthy treats are great for dogs (specifically my puppy) I came across these and plan on continuing to buy them. My pup absolutely loves them (which is great for engagement training) and is glued to me as soon as he knows he may get some. Great ingredients and the treats don't crumble, but you can still break them down to use as a topper on kibble or other food. Highly recommend!

食が細くて食べない時期がよくあり、今回も痩せてしまって、元気がなかったのですが、これは袋を開けた瞬間から、目をキラキラさせてあっという間に食べてしまいました。 おかげで今は元気モリモリです。 これ単体で食べさせるにはお高いので私はフードプロセッサーで砕いて、ドッグフードに混ぜてあげています。 いろいろなドッグフードを試してもダメだったので、これもどうかなとヒヤヒヤしながら買ってみたのですが、良かったです。 お試しサイズのものがあったら良いのになと思います。 この値段出して食べなかったらと思うと、なかなか手が出せない人もいると思うので。
