Bought this for my son's Christmas present and so far it has sat unopened on the shelf in his bedroom so despite being a card game fan and liking star wars this has so far failed to grab his attention.

This is a great introductory set for anyone interested in getting into Star Wars Unlimited. While the initial price is a bit steep at about $35, one thing to note is that you get quite a bit of bang for your bucks. The set includes two starter decks, two cardboard deck boxes, two playmats/posters, two cardboard punchcards of assorted tokens, and one rulebook. The decks are actually good decks with some highly effective cards, including several cards that are exclusive to the starter set, and a few rares. The deck boxes have some cool art on them. The playmats/posters again have cool poster art on one side, and have a game layout on the playmat side that is highly useful for new players. The tokens are thin cardboard. This is a great game for CCG/Star Wars fans and has a lot of iconic characters and depictions of pivotal characters, events, droids, ships, etc. and definitely doesn't disappoint on the nostalgia factor for fans of the original trilogy. The game is relatively easy to pick up, and the rulebook is pretty easy to understand and good sized, unlike the overcomplicated, microprint rulebooks that came with many of the CCGs of yesteryear (I'm looking at YOU old Magic the Gathering decks!). Overall this is a great game, both for CCG fans as well as dedicated Star Wars nerds. Highly recommended. The only thing I will say here is that the playmats, deck boxes and thin cardboard tokens will not last overly long, as they are obviously only really meant for temporary use. Players intending on heavy/regular use of the cards will definitely want to invest in things like card sleeves, plastic deck boxes, and more durable plastic tokens. You would also need a card storage box, as the only downside I see with this starter kit is that once the deck boxes are popped open all of the stuff will not fit back into the starter box, and there is no place to store the tokens. Overall a great game though.

Ottimo gioco, soprattutto per i fan. Apprezzabile anche dagli amanti degli altri giochi di carte, semplice ma con tante giocate possibili da fare in partita.
